Has anyone been to this years disney on ice- if so what's it like? It's finally coming to Belfast in April so I am off to get the tickets this afternoon!! Have never been before very excited- this will be DS first taste of Disney!

We went a couple of years ago when DD was nearly 1. We both enjoyed it and although she slept through the first half Molly loved the hour she was awake for :goodvibes.

When we went it was an anniversary one so there was a bit of everything. She particually loved the Lion King (I suppose because of the powerful music!)

We didn't go to the most recent tour - what's the theme?

We are planning to go this autumn when the theme is Princesses princess:

Just as an aside. We got into problems taking babyfood in because it was in glass jars - one of the blokes we went with kicked up a fuss :guilty: (we were quite happy all they wanted to do was store it for us and then let us collect it when DD was hungry) This time I will take something in a plastic container!

Hope you enjoy it

What show are you going to? We went in October to the show that was Peter Pan/Little Mermaid/101 Dalmations and Lilo and Stitch. That was excellent.

we went to mickey and minnies journey it was over here last year

it was great the things you can buy are expensive though

We saw the same as Anna but the price's for merchandise were VERY expensive so i would de-tour eveyone away from that area. :teeth:

We saw Mickey and Minnie's journey in Oct for DS's 3rd birthday treat. Was a bit worried he may get fidgety but he was enthralled and didn't move for the whole of the first half. DH and I both really enjoyed too, and DH isn't usually into that kind of thing!

Will agree on the price of the merchandise though - really expensive.

You will really enjoy it. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the replies and info- the show is Minnie & Mickeys journey!! What sort of merchandise to they sell?

we seen the toy story one in 2004 in Belfast and another one the year before
very good

if you have any Disney light up toys take them with you as they are really really dear there

We saw this one too :thumbsup2

As mentioned before, the merchandise is really expensive :sad2:
Luckily DD (7) is old enough to understand a little about the price of things now though so we bought a lovely Tinkerbell t-shirt.
Still expensive but she'll always need clothes............ ;)

They sold crushed ice drinks in character cups (disgusting but the kids like it  ), popcorn, light up toys as well as the t-shirts :goodvibes
