Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes was GREAT!

Does anyone have a presale code for the show in Greenville, SC, at the Bi-Lo center? That is the closest show to us, but it isn't until mid-Dec. Maybe it's too early to buy tickets at all but I thought I'd try! I can't wait--we just got back from WDW and this is just the Disney fix we'll need by December!

Hi
I tried to get tickets for the lower level, section 101 or 113, put the code in, and the only section I could get was one that I didn't want. I think it was 107 or 107A. I tried all different days and times, and the same section kept coming up. I did this online with the code CP 37. How do you get tickets for the section that you want? I thought I would have to wait until 11/5 to call to get the seats that I want. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Be careful about what section you request. I thought I wanted these sections also but was told otherwise. According to a friend who has gone to several Disney on Ice performances, section 107 is considered "front stage" with the characters entering from the other end. He told me what would normally be great seats for hockey are actually "side stage" type seats. Good luck!

Thanks Shelly3girls. I'll check it out before I order these. I didn't know if being all the way down the end would be that good. You can take a virtual tour on their website. I'll do it again before I order. I want to surprise my DGD (4) with the tickets.

I was told section 107 was the best seat in the house but I have not personally experienced them to know for sure. This came from someone with season tickets to every sporting event and takes his kids to all the ice shows. He is a pretty reliable source.

Thanks again!!! I've never been to Disney on Ice and am excited to go with my DD and DGD.

We were in section 107 for the Incredibles show last year and it was 'front stage' as shelly3girls said (for that show, anyway)- we really liked that perspective rather than a 'side' view. We were down in row 4 or 5 - very good seats, but I remember that the kids had some difficulty seeing over the people in front of them as these seats were on wooden risers and there was not much height between the rows. This year I booked 107 again (I think that's why 107 is coming up as 'best available' for the less busy nights), but further back in the regular seat section (not down on the risers) - I hope I'm remembering correctly - we're looking forward to the show either way ! :smooth:

Hi
I ended up getting section 101, row 7, so I hope it is good. I thought that we might be able to see everything a little better than being down the end with the skaters coming towards us. I don't know. I hope it isn't a mistake. But the girl said that the other section, I think its 113 is completely filled already and that one is directly across the rink from ours. I took the virtual tour on their website and our seats seemed pretty good. I'll report back for future reference after the show!!

Has anyone been to 100 Years of Magic? That's the only show coming to our city. Bummer. But it still looks good so we'll probably go!

I would love to go see it (and I am 38). McDonalds has a great discount code. Anyway, I have two boys 2.5 and 5.5 -- no girls. DH is willing to go, but has some reservations about going with boys (and no girls...seems I don't count :rotfl2: )

Anyway, did you see many boys there? Were the princes part of the show??

My younger DS is in love with Jasmine & Ariel since our trip earlier in the month, I mean totally in love. I think he would really enjoy the show. I think my older DS is still innocent enough to not realize some think it's a "girlie" thing.

What do you all think?

I think it's fine - I'm taking DS7 - I showed him the advertisement and asked if he wanted to go and he said yes. He will love it and who cares what anyone else thinks - besides people will be too busy watching the show to critique your family anyway. Take the boys and have fun!

Can you talk about the content of the show? We saw "Princess Classics" (I think) last year, and it was, frankly a bit frightening. Thanks!

Also, tell me more about the McDonald's deal! :thumbsup2

I am in NJ. At the local McDonalds they have a poster that promotes a "kids go free" type of promotion (kind of a buy one get one). Once in tickmaster's web site, when you are typing in the quantity of tickets you want, type in MCD in the promotional code box.

I tested it (tickets at Continental Airlines Arena), but did not purchase, and all four tickets came up at half price (so buy one get one).

Hope this helps!

We went to Princess Wishes tonite. It was awsome :cheer2: we liked it better than incred. and toy story 2. toy story 1 was pretty good. our seats were section 109 AA. I loved the front row since I had room for all my bags and our legs. I liked being across from the main prop. rather than on the side. We always sit in that main area but never in the front row. Most of the charters sat on the other side but we could still see. Man they were fast it was hard getting good pics. We always take lots of money, but the programs this year were 25.00 . You do get a rose with it. It doesnt seem like they were that much last year. DD had 70.00 left over for b-day money. but being the smart girl she is she decided not to buy one and save her money for important stuff like snow cones and cotton candy. Since we always buy one Dh bought us one. so she didnt have to spend her money.

Thanks Sharibrat,
I didn't think I could call now to get tickets. I thought I'd have to wait until 11/5 when they go on sale. I thought you could only get tickets ahead of time by using the online code. I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get tickets.

I found a trick on the Philly site - when the tickets are shown, go back & reselect the same date & time & put in the # of tics again. All of the tickets will show separately in your cart. Once you get seats you like, you can release the ones you don't like. I think they give you about 10 mins or so? We have section 111, row B. I kept putting it in til we were on the end of the aisle. It's the first section at the corner of the ice on the side, but I think it's closer than being behind the risers - I didn't want to sit in them w/ a 2 & 4 year old.
