I can't save you money but I wasn't sure where else to post this. Yesterday, I saw that the new Disney on Ice show will be about Frozen and went on Ticketmaster to check it out. Tickets don't go on sale for a few weeks, but I found a code that allowed me to buy my tickets last night. The pre-sale code is "social."

Thanks! I'll go check it out, my DD is super excited about the show!

Thanks from me as well! There are a bunch of shows in my city but I'm thinking they are going to sell out as soon as they are available to the general public. I just bought ours!

I bought mine yesterday too. A birthday gift for my niece.
However, today I have a bit of remorse, because I think last time we bought we got them with a Groupon/Livingsocial deal and saved money. Seeing as how I didn't get highly coveted seats (I like the upper deck at the railing), I might have just waited.

Nothing too close to us yet. Hoping they'll eventually come closer since I won't drive 2 hrs to see it when they may come to a place that's a 15 min drive.

I wonder though if this show will be so popular that they will not even offer a Groupon type deal on it.

That's the only thought that keeps me thinking it's OK that I jumped in so quickly. Our show isn't until mid-December, so I had plenty of time to wait, if not.

This was exactly my thought. I got the seats I wanted and the price wasn't horrible.

Oh no, I just checked and there is no show in Denver :(

Thanks for the head's up! I just bought tickets for next May and most of the seats were already sold. We had very limited options.

Maybe I am mis reading this wrong but, this is the same show that Disney always puts on, with the adding of a 8min long skit of Frozen. Correct!

the whole show should be frozen...mickey and friends in beginning and at the end....it's the frozen ice show....it should be more than 8 min..

I got my ticket for November at Barclays Center - it's the same week I'm going to see Aladdin on Broadway, coincidentally. :thumbsup2

The official site says it's "hosted by" Mickey and Minnie with "guest appearances" by other popular characters, so it seems like most of the show should be Frozen-themed. The promo video shows concept art for multiple costumes, as well as a couple different sets. That seems like a lot to just be a short portion of another show.

It's definitely not the same show. They all have "names" disney on ice princess and heros, disney on ice celebratations, etc. This one is disney on ice frozen.

Thank you so much for posting this! My husband is less than thrilled. : But my MIL is exited to go in his place.

Last year front row tickets for the Feb Mice On Ice show "Let's Celebrate" in Boston were about $100. This year for Frozen, $230!!! OUCH!!!!!

Check different show times, they're priced differently! I got 2 front row seats (near the corner thing that the skaters stand on during the show) for $297 total (tax, ticketmaster fees, etc).

Thanks for posting! We picked up tickets for next spring. Wow- total ticket price shock- they must be really proud of this show and know that people are total suckers for Frozen. We go to Disney on Ice once a year, and sometimes twice as the in-laws like us to come for a visit and go with them when it is in their town. The tickets for Frozen are just over DOUBLE the amount we usually pay for Disney on Ice! Can't believe how much they increased the price for this one!

I think you will be glad you did not wait. I think it may be sold out before it gets to the regular sale and I highly doubt it will ever be on Groupon. For the performance we were looking at, the entire upper sections were already sold out except for some single tickets, and the choices if you wanted more than 2 tickets together were very limited in the lower level. We basically paid twice as much as usual for tickets that are not as good as the ones we have had in the past!!!

I'm shocked at the prices you guys are quoting! I bought tickets yesterday for $32.50 each, third row from the front, in Richmond, VA. I could have gotten front row for the same price but I was worried that DD4 would be scared in the front row.
I didn't see any tickets that were more expensive than that at our venue, although I only checked what looked to me like the best seats. Are there really tickets for $100 - holy moly!

That is the price we usually pay for tickets in the front couple of rows- $30. I went back through my old confirmation e-mails and looked. For Frozen we are several rows back and not in as good a section and our tickets were $70 each. I checked the price of one of the singles left down front and it was $80.
