Disney On Ice "Celebrations"

The newest Disney On Ice production, entitled "Celebrations", begins rehearsals in Lakeland, Florida, on July 27. The show promises to be "a magical medley of holidays, celebrations and festivals from around the globe", including a winter wonderland with Mickey and Minnie, a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains, a very merry unbirthday party, and a Royal Ball with the Disney Princesses.

The show will premiere at the Lakeland Center on September 4 and 5 before moving to Orlando for an engagement at the Amway Arena September 11-13. Other cities on the 2009 tour include Atlanta, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Raleigh, Hershey, Charlotte, Providence, Nashville, Fairfax and Hampton. Early 2010 engagements are scheduled for Chicago, Rosemont, Boston, Auburn Hills and Cleveland with others to be announced.

In addition, the DOI productions 100 Years of Magic, Princess Classics, Finding Nemo and Worlds of Fantasy will also be touring in the United States in 2009 and 2010. Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey and Princess Wishes will be visiting Europe while The Incredibles' Disneyland Adventure will tour in Japan.

Tickets generally go on sale six weeks prior to the engagement. Check you local newspaper for ticket prices and show times.
