Disney Offering AP's Valid for 13 Months!

I'm glad you bumped this as I meant to post something and forgot. I bought my voucher in February because I thought the 13 month expiration was going to expire. I didn't print out the voucher because it said it I could just show my phone. I looked last week and the voucher is gone. It's not in my account, but says that I can bring in my original receipt, credit card used and my photo ID and they will "find" my AP. I am not planning on a trip right away, but wanted to point that out to people that the ticket voucher may not stay in your account for very long if you are buying now, but not planning on activating it right away.

I'm bumping this thread back up to ask a question...I, too, bought the 13 month AP in February and had planned to use the phone option to redeem it but, like @cruisehopeful, my voucher has disappeared and is giving the same error message.

I just wanted to follow up & see if any other AP purchasers with this same problem had redeemed their AP at the ticket booth and find out a) if they had any problems with the redemption & getting the appropriate number of months applied and b) how much extra time this added to the AP pick up process. Last time I purchased an AP the pick up took roughly 25 minutes, I was wondering if it took a lot longer as I will be redeeming my 13 month AP voucher in the middle of the afternoon in August heat and want to be prepared for a long time period standing in the sun (I am a heart patient and have some heat sensitivities issues, so I like to be prepared, if I know approximately how long it may take, I can plan accordingly). Thanks in advance,

~Meg

Ours disappeared too and we had to do everything at the window. I think it took close to 45 minutes for 2 of us but that might have been my impatience to get into the parks after a rather trying travel time period. It was at least half an hour. The cast mate was really friendly . . . it probably took 10 minutes longer than it should have because of how much he talked but they did find the extra month.

I also bought ours in February (on the last day) and just activated them in May. I got the same message when I tried to pull up the vouchers on my phone and computer. We went to the ticket booth and it took about 1/2 hour to get them activated. I simply showed my ID and they were able to pull them up. The extra month was automatically there with no issue.

Seems like transactions at the ticket booth are always so slloooooooow even when routine. The CM did a lot of clicking and moving the mouse around but there were no issues whatsoever. It just took a long time.

I had printed mine, so no issue with that. We took our printed vouchers to the gates. Is there no way to print them now? I will say they sure take a long time to process them at the booths. But we did have 4. She commented that I had bought them a while ago, but there were no issues. Keep in mind the extra month is actually an extra 30 days. So since we went on May 28 they expire on June 27 the following year.

I'm also getting the error message and also bought in February. We'll be activating ours on Sunday. I keep hoping the actual vouchers will show but it's not sounding like they will. We have five to set up. I've already warned the family it's going to take awhile.

No way to print them because it's not showing actual vouchers. The error says to bring your confirmation.

Thank you for the update...I was afraid it was going to require a manager, would take an hour+ for one AP (with my heart failure I'm not great at standing a long time in the heat! The 25 minutes I did two Octobers ago on a semi-hot day was fine, but much longer in 80+ degree heat would be pushing it). I still will probably duck into World of Disney for some A/C time so I can cool off for ten minutes or so as I figure the walk from my hotel (just south of PPH) plus going through security at DTD plus the walk to the esplanade will probably be enough heat that I'll need a quick cool down break before the long wait at the ticket window.

I'm glad they were able to pull them up...I was afraid they might have to totally manually enter all the details from scratch, and as I timed my last "easy" AP activation at 25 minutes, I was worrying that everyone with this error might have a really super long wait for activation! I'm so glad it's not as bad as I feared!

When you click the link in the e-mail it gives an error message saying: "Your Disney eTickets are safely stored, but we're unable to display them.

"The tickets can be re-issued at any Disneyland Resort Box Office. Please bring a printed or electronic copy of the initial order confirmation email, a government-issued ID and the card you used to pay for your order. For security reasons, only the Guest whose name appears on the original credit card will be able to pick up replacement tickets."

There is no ticket shown at all. I really wish I had printed it when I first received the email, but figured this time I would be fully 21st century and just use the phone option...looks like that wasn't a good idea after all! From now on, I will definitely be printing this sort of stuff out as soon as I get it, even though there is a good chance that I might lose it in the months before my trip.

Good luck!! I hope it all goes smoothly! Thankfully for us, we only have one AP to activate as my husband can only make the long trip with me once (during our August trip when I will activate this new AP, thankfully I'll be able to take a few flights out from Michigan for trips with other family & friends), so he decided to go for traditional park tickets instead.
