Disney Offering AP's Valid for 13 Months!

I think the only way to know what they mean by "by 2/11" would be to contact Disney. But I'm confused, what pricing are you waiting to be released in the next day? If you're ok taking the risk, why wouldn't you just get them today when you know it's good.

I will probably call tonight if no one here happens to know the answer.

Rumor has it that Disneyland is raising prices for all tickets and AP's on Sunday.
Right now I can buy 5 day PH tickets through LMTClub for about 15% off which is a savings of $200 for the 4 that I need.
So if AP pricing increases by $50 per pass it is a wash and I might as well just order them now and see if I get the 13 month promo honored in Dec.
So I'm hoping Disneyland releases the new prices so I can make the calculated decision to save the most money.

Disney often has special deals, etc. and they always use the term by XX date. The “by” term means on that actual date. It doesn’t mean before. If they meant before they would say before. So by 2/11 means that date, not the day before. This can be seen with deals like the SoCal 3 day ticket, activation dates on tickets, etc.

Awesome, that was what I was hoping, but I've never paid attention to prior sales/specials/events to know for sure. Now fingers crossed they release pricing so I make the right call to save the most $$.

do i buy a new deluxe AP today OR wait until my renewal window opens up to get the discount?
decisions - decisions........

Since they are predicting an increase in AP prices as well, I'd buy the new pass now personally.
I'm waiting and hoping Disney releases some pricing later today which would hopefully help make your decision easier, knowing if buying now would also save money or not.

Deluxe increase announced today. Signature and above I believe stay the same. For now.

Got my deluxe AP last night. Thank goodness

Sounds like Deluxe AP's are going up by $20.....so if you want to save the renewal discount (making renewal $579), just wait and renew, but if it is worth an extra $20 to get the extra month for "free" then buy today for $599.

If I buy ap's for my kids tonight will they activate the first day they are used or activate tonight?

Just a follow-up; I missed this in the fine-print, but as an FYI (so others aren't surprised like we were), the 13th-month is defined as a 30-day period. So if you redeem you AP voucher in a month with 31-days, the expiration date will one day earlier in the next month (e.g., if you redeemed your voucher on March 10, 2017, the expiration date will be April 9, 2018).

Thanks for the information. I'm assuming you recently activated your 13 month AP and had no problems at the ticket booth.

I'm glad you bumped this as I meant to post something and forgot. I bought my voucher in February because I thought the 13 month expiration was going to expire. I didn't print out the voucher because it said it I could just show my phone. I looked last week and the voucher is gone. It's not in my account, but says that I can bring in my original receipt, credit card used and my photo ID and they will "find" my AP. I am not planning on a trip right away, but wanted to point that out to people that the ticket voucher may not stay in your account for very long if you are buying now, but not planning on activating it right away.

Did you get an email? There should be a link there to put it back on your phone.

Other than the confusion about what the "13th month" meant, there weren't any issues redeeming the voucher.

I thought that too (previous I had been able to), and I don't know if has something to do with the 13-month promotion vouchers or not, but I couldn't access the vouchers using the email information either. I had already printed the vouchers, so it wasn't an issue, but I was also surprised that I couldn't access them more recently (but before I had redeemed the vouchers).

Huh, I just tried and it says they can't be displayed. I think it's more likely an issue with the website than it is with the vouchers.

Maybe, but I had looked for mine about a month ago and they couldn't be displayed (or found, I can't remember which), so either this is an ongoing problem or there is only a finite amount of time when the vouchers can be viewed online. Memo to self: in the future, print the vouchers to a pdf first, then print them on paper!

I purchased my vouchers right before the February cutoff, and I was able to view them from the email several days ago (I looked at them to respond to someone's question about expiration dates in another thread). So my guess would be that there was some tech issue that messed with some vouchers but not others.

There is no way to put it back on my phone. The link to my tickets in the email take me to a page that says:
We See-See-See There Is a Problem!

Your Disney eTickets are safely stored, but we're unable to display them.

The tickets can be re-issued at any Disneyland Resort Box Office. Please bring a printed or electronic copy of the initial order confirmation email, a government-issued ID and the card you used to pay for your order. For security reasons, only the Guest whose name appears on the original credit card will be able to pick up replacement tickets.
