Disney OCD--aka MissCammie is Disney Planning!

23 Days & Counting.....

I have to ask, I know you said you write things down to remember them, but do you do it at night like a journal, or when they occur?

I want to remember my trip this year and have as much detail as you did, I just want to know the best way (b/c being a mommy has my brain fried and I can't remember anything!). I'd hate to forget the really cute moments. Please help!:goodvibes

I am a BIG fan of the Mead "little notebook". It's really teeny actually...I think I got it at CVS! I keep it with me and I write things down ALL DAY long, as they happen...something cute that was said...where we were, times of day...how the kids reacted to this or that...one summer when I was in college I worked for a lawyer and his secretary taught me shorthand...seriously, that stuff comes in HANDY!!! I also have a Passporter...I LOVE the Passporter. I recommend the Passporter to anyone and everyone going to Disney!! At the end of the day I put A LOT of the information into the passporter b/c it's great for keeping things organized on a timeline...makes for a GREAT recap of the day! LOVE The Passporter!!!

I'm a nut that way though. I've ALWAYS done that. Even when i was little bitty I was recording life into a notebook. That's just me. It DOES help with Trip Report writing though!!!

I am SO excited for your trip!!!:goodvibes I can't wait to hear all about it!!

. I love the movie and I can't listen to the Hawaiian Roller Coast ride song without tears. I do NOT know why this song does this to me, but it does.

Every. Single. Time.

:confused3

This is so true! We just watched this movie the other night with our girls! Love it! I too cannot get through that song without shedding a few tears! We had a hawaiian luau party for my daughter's 7th birthday last February (indoors, of course) and this song was the theme of the party - all the kids kept asking me why I was so sad! I had to keep explaining to them that I just really liked the song! :rotfl:

Thanks for starting your PTR Miss Cammie! Can't wait to catch up - just found you today! :)

Oh FUN!!! a birthday trip!!!

I want to do a birthday trip some day but my birthday is in December...I've heard nightmare stories about the outrageous crowds during the holidays.

no no no...no crowds. The nice weather and temperature does NOT make up for wall to wall people.

I'd rather sweat.

in a lady like way.

:flower3:

are you bringing your babies on the trip? Or is this a mommy's only trip?

I'm not too fond of crowds either, or sweat, that's why we always go in January or February :thumbsup2 well, that and wanting to get out of the snow! I am definitely bringing my babies. I'm so excited! And we're having a big disboutiquer meet too I think. Heathersue and Karebear and twob4him and t-beri....you should think about flying down! Some of us will have kids and DHs with us, some will not. I'm so happy because after our trip last year DH was saying not for another 4 years :sad1: but things happen, and here we are planning another trip! A girl needs to be someplace happy for her big 40, doesn't she? :rotfl:

HOLY FLIPPIN CANNOLI...I am SO going to do my best to make it down for the Disboutique Meet. How FUN would that be!!!

It would be like meeting CELEBRITIES!!! :cool2: :cool1:

Aha...this year I HYPHENATED...even though technically it's not November yet so my passport is still valid under my maiden name...

but I WILL change it...

after November.

I will.

I swear.

*ahem*

:flower3:

I am going through the same thing! I just got married on 7/19 and haven't even thought about changing my name. We are going on our honeymoon in August to Europe so I can't change my name yet because my passport is still in my maiden name as well as my plane ticket, cruise passanger info, etc...

My passport expires in 2011. Think I could hold out until then? I would just make more sense.

:lmao:

changing my last name has always been a big IF for me. I like my name. My dad likes my name too! It's all very "male possessive"...and I'm not one who gives in to such things easily...I know, big shock! I like to the bossER NOT the bossee!

That being said, there is a fabulous website called MissNowMrs.com. It's a GODSEND. You pay for their "kit"...plug in all the necessary information, then they do all the legwork for you. You don't have spend endless hours in this office and then that office, changing this and proving that. It's VERY worth the cost...which is very reasonable...I'm so going to use it...if I ever decide to change my name...

:flower3:

CONGRATS on your marriage!!! Have a FABULOUS time in Europe!!!:goodvibes

Sweet Niblets! I can finally stop my meds-- MissCammie is back in action!

Looking SOOOOOOOO forward to the sequel!

Miss Cammie, I didn't get a chance to post on your last trip report before it was moved over to the completed board but I enjoyed reading about your sweet family so much. And I'll never see Sam Champion again without thinking of you! I'm so looking forward to reading this report as well.

Hello Miss Cammie. I really enjoyed your last trip report and am excited that you are writing another one. Your kids are precious and they are very lucky to have you in their life.

Now, about December. I just wanted to let you know that I've been twice in December, and if you time it right, and use TGM, it's not so bad. I, like you, work for the school system, and so I have to plan our vacations accordingly. And I, like you, do NOT like to sweat! So, last year we left on the 19th (school let out at 12:30 and we were packed and ready to go) and came back on the 24th. We avoided the week between Christmas and New Years, but still were able to experience Disney at Christmas. And the crowds really are not that bad. Infact, I would say no worse than a summer trip.

Anyway, I wish you a fun week in WDW.:goodvibes

Gotta love MissCammie trip reports, however, did we ever get the much promised epilogue from the last TR? I stumbled upon your old blog just recently and have loved it! I just want to make sure that Sally Rally and her adorable lil brother never had to move to the shore. Can't wait for more installments. Oh and BTW, whose last name are the trip arrangements made under this year- HA HA

Yay MissCammie! I read your TR and have been wondering/hoping you'd do a PTR. Can't wait to read more!

So happy to get my MissCammie fix! I am anxiously awaiting your lists. I am sure it will help me to get organized for our November trip!

Yay! MissCammie's back!!! :cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

OK, now to go read the PTR... :rolleyes1

How impatient I was for you to finish your trip report and now that it's over, I'm sad!

Even worse, I was SURE you were going to announce that you were pregnant (yes, I cried when it didn't happen. You know, pregnancy hormones and all that!)!

It's so refreshing to see a fellow obsessive-compulsive w/germ warfare issues! ;) I, too, have used the eyebrow, although now my 15 month-old has figured out how to do it back.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Looks like we are arriving right before you leave....so if you see 2 little boys running amuck (although I PROMISE they will have pants on ;) ) and a crazed pregnant woman, you can bet that it's me!

Can't wait for more of your PTR!

Lisa:goodvibes

awwww...thanks so much for the kind words!:goodvibes I actually cried a little bit myself when I found it was just the migraines and the ulcers causing all the fun vomiting. :headache:

maybe someday...

I will DEFINITELY keep an eye out for a crazed pregnant woman and her little munchkins!!! If I see you I'll wave!!! :)

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Umm, excuse me please Miss Cammie,:flower3:

Page 6 in just a few days... Will you be posting an index for this here PTR, so we know when to pop back in and check on your OCD-ness?

Just wondering. :rolleyes1
