Then why are you on a board for people who love Disney?:confused3 Sorry you didn't have a good time, but I don't think you are going to convince any of us not to love it!

Sorry to hear you had a bad time but Disney isn't for everyone. Some people have pixie dust in their heart, and some people don't.

It's not a bad thing that some people don't like Disney though, I mean wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same?

True, it would be boring if we were all the same! OK by me that some people don't get the Disney thing, means less people in the parks when I go. :thumbsup2

seems like such a waste of time to register on a board to post probably once? I just don't see you posting alot since this is a forum for those who love Disney and you didn't enjoy it....anyway, I guess maybe the old saying "misery loves company" is true, but in this case I think you will be disappointed...but welcome to the boards anyway! :D

Sorry to hear that you didn't have a magical experience. Disney is not for everyone. More room for those of us who love Disney.

With that said, hope you find other vacation destinations that will suit you better.

Welcome!
You've chosen an interesting place to voice your dissatisfaction, though.
I'd be curious to hear what exactly you felt was overrated, overpriced, and overcrowded.
Sorry your trip didn't live up to your expectations.

It's what you make of it, like most things in life. Did you plan and research?
,
I can't imagine anyone not loving it, but I know someone through work who went with her family last summer and was slightly disappointed. Why? They were there 2 weeks, got one autograph, saw 2 characters, knew nothing about ADRs and character meals and spent a fortune on gas driving offsite to get food. When I asked her pre-trip, she didn't really want to get caught up in over-planning ..... You don't need a military schedule, but being informed and aware can be the make or break.

Doesn't bother me. Half my family loves to ski and the other half loves warm Florida. It's what makes the world go around!:hippie:

Why would anyone bother to take the time to register on a site to post such a message? No doubt it will be the first and last from them

I have a friend who went halfway across the world to WDW, spent 1 hour in Main street, went back to his hotel and never returned. He came home and told me he thought it was awful and he didn't get the attraction.

I fully understand that people don't get it.

We found disney to be overated, to expensive, and to croweded!

Who is "WE"? I'm sure your kids probably had a great time. Stinks to be you I suppose. Have fun at whatever half-***** bargain spot you go to next. We'll be thinking about you from Animal Kingdom Lodge this June. Bye bye now.

You're kidding, right? It's not a cheap vacation. It never ceases to amaze me how people spend so much money on a trip and don't bother to find out anything about where they are going or what is on offer. :confused3

Yes...Disney IS expensive, sometimes pretty crowded....but we LOVE it!!:lovestruc:goodvibes:thumbsup2:love:

There's a place in Pennsylvania called Sesame Place - you should try that one... you can get Oscar The Grouch's autograph!

I'd love to know when and where the OP went/stayed while at Walt Disney World. This could have affected the overall stay immensely.

We've been to travel destinations other than Disney World and have found them to be even more crowded and more expensive than Disney.

I guess it all depends on how you go into a Disney World vacation. For me, there's just no place better to vacation than at Walt Disney World!
