Disney No Longer Serving All Beef Hot Dogs

Damn that sucks! I used to like the dogs we used to get at Caseys. Guess we won't be going back there.

:scared1: DS LIVES on hot dogs and nuggets when we go.....and believe me, he knows the difference between the all beef and well....other kinds. I certainly hope they keep kosher ones available, for request, at a higher cost I am sure.
Thank you for posting this, I have some calls to make for sure, it sounds dramatic, but something like this changes a lot of things for our trip if they cannot accomodate offering the all beef choice as an alternative.

With the Master Sommelier gone, I wonder if downsizing to Ripple is next.

I will not eat hot dogs with chicken or turkey in them. I really enjoyed Casey's, but now that is off my list. This sucks.

I guess I may be the only one happy about this because the beef ones gross me out. They just seem so greasy! I know this strange but I prefer the ones with chicken and turkey.

first the buns, and now the dogs...

:sad2:

and yet, there will still be a line - but sooner - or probably later, the complaints come... it has to get better!

I e-mailed WDW to complain about the chicken hot-dogs. Others might let them know your objection or approval to this change.

I'm with you, I hate beef hot dogs!

That was the California one in the article - WDW's has been gone since last year (he's still in Florida though. Maybe they'll send him to California)

Don't care (not trying to be harsh) but I prefer "regular" hotdogs. Grew up on them and my parents can't stand the beef ones so they don't buy them and neither do I with my kids now. I also think they taste different.

Guess I'll be one of those people who will be enjoying Casey's more!!! :rotfl:

Another vote from a person who dislikes all beef hot dogs!

I prefer chicken or turkey... In fact, I don't use any ground beef in my cooking. I find that if you make the switch to chicken/turkey, you don't really miss it. And it is an easy way to put something a bit more healthy in your diet!

These hot dogs might not be healthier. Just because it's made of chicken/turkey doesn't mean healthy. If they are using white meat then yes, almost always healthier. But if they use dark meat and turkey/chicken fat? The same nutritional value, if not worse than the beef ones. Plus more sodium usually. :(

see I took it to mean they were using pork, not poultry, esp since someone said that they are no longer kosher.

ETA - oh, I see in the article now, they say mixture of beef and chicken? weird...what kind of hot dogs are those usually (if I were to buy them at the store)?
