Has anyone already reported that there is no security at Disney Springs? We walked from Saratoga after checking in and went right in - no security check or anyone even standing there. Just a few signs with the mask policy.

To be honest... it doesn't make me feel real comfortable... I hadn't seen it mentioned so I was surprised.

Are the garages security free now, too?

There have never been security checks at the entrance at the Saratoga end or the one for the Disney buses. Just the temp checks for a while.

The website hates me and won’t work!

I kept having to refresh and even use a different credit card, it definitely was having difficulties. I did get my confirmation email though, called and am on hold to make sure cognitive disability was added to DD's ticket.

For anyone in need of the reminder, Southwest opened their spring flight availability though calling to book is an hour wait time. I managed to poke the online system enough times to make my flights, just hope there is a sale so I can lower the point cost hope DH doesn't mind the extra day I had to add to get non-stop.

Booked our flights (also added at day at the beginning ) this morning around 9:15 AM EST, didn't have any issues with the website. Booked w/ a combo of points and travel credits.
Now - where to stay that extra night???????

I finally got one trip done, I just had to hit every button about 10 times Now to fight through for the second trip.

I think the rates are really high and swa is waiting to see how many will bite before lowering prices...

The rates were pretty ridiculous, but I don’t think I’d do any better with other airlines once you factor in all the baggage and seating fees.

Just FYI that southwest easily refunds points or money when the rates drop. I just had that happen for my October flights and I was able to easily process the refunds on my app.

Does anyone know if there is a thread to post about dining reservations that I am about to drop? I know the odds of someone here wanting to pick one up that I have and actually getting it are probably very slim, but I wanted to post if that's "a thing" so another Disboarder could try! We have to cancel our Remy preview short trip. Thanks

I hope so. I didn't buy yet because lately I've been buying on release day and then the rates drop. I know I can get travel credits, but sometimes the expiration date becomes a problem.

I don't think I've ever seen them run a sale on release day but they will run sales in the coming months. The problem is whether or not the seats are available to purchase at that point, I've always bought as early as possible and then check on it twice a week for a drop, 8k points per way is the best for my flights (paid 12k and 22k for there and back this time uuuhhgg). I always call to have them adjust it so that I'm sure I don't lose my seats but I always pay exclusively with points so I don't have to worry about travel credits.
