So if you're considering a perk to be something you don't pay for, then why are rich people who can afford deluxe more deserving of perks?
So only rich people can afford Deluxe? I don’t think so. We have always stayed Moderate, but because we didn’t have a vacation last year, my mother and I decided to splurge and do a split stay between Pop and Yacht Club. It is more money than we’ve ever spent, but my mother is 77 years old and I’d like to treat her to a Deluxe once in her life while I’m lucky to have her. So while we are certainly not poor, we definitely aren’t rich either.

In an attempt to bring this thread back to news and dancing gifs: I submit this to the news gods to beg for the return of AP sales

Can someone give me the current status of pin trading? Last August the CM had boards at some locations, it was ok but not the same. I just love the human interaction it creates with cast. Along with CM trading has anyone seen if guests are set up trading in EPCOT by the pin traders or at another park. Just trying to plan if or what is worth bringing.

In June it was just pin boards scattered throughout. They weren't on CMs and everyone had a bucket or cup to drop pins in.

Why do you think only rich people can afford deluxe rooms? There are a range of deluxe room prices.

and if Disney wants to give folks who stay in Deluxe resorts a perk of a couple of hours in the parks a few times a week then that's their prerogative.... :confused3 and I didnt say that deluxe folks are more deserving or not..that's what you said...

Right and Universal has been doing this for years anyway-but in the way of Express Pass. I would love for them to offer something like the express pass for Deluxe hotels/DVC villas points or cash-but won't happen.

What are some of the new locations and are they set times or random?
We found them at small vendors all over. The boards were pretty prominently displayed. I didn't see set times, we would just see the board and walk over.

My grandfather was a firefighter and saved up everything he had to stay in the contemporary every year from the 80s on. He had no money and was not rich. He continued to do this until he died. This was the only vacation he went on with his family and saved up accordingly for the full experience. Nor did he ever complain, if he didn’t like what was being offered he just didn’t pay for it. That simple.
