You gotttttta be kidding me with this. Disney is simply bullying those visiting July-September at this point. Just stuff me in a locker and get it over with already!

Yep, I think it is just ridiculous. Throw the rest of us summer visitors some perks. They don't have to save everything for October 1st. Maybe enough people will postpone their trips that Disney will feel the need to give something to us traveling in the next few weeks (or maybe not, wishful thinking I guess, lol).

So, as a person with a trip in September, I fully expect all the rides to be under refurbishment so they can be perfected for October 1. I'll be stuck riding Small World over and over again. And don't open any additional restaurants until October 1. At least that's what it's starting to feel like.

Thank you so much for posting this! We've been waiting for this! I was starting to wonder if it wasn't going to happen, since Typhoon is still closed. So glad it will be open for our trip next month!!

Awesome !! Thoughts on the mini-golf courses? I definitely remember "Fantasia Gardens"--- vaguely remember "Winter Summerland"-- Just received free vouchers for either with our Vacation Package, and we definitely have time this trip- Suggestions? I DO remember really liking "FG"

Well, from July - September WDW is providing all guests (FREE OF CHARGE) the lovely summer weather of Florida. You know 4H. Heat, Humidity, Heat index and Hurricane watch.

In regards to Winter Summerland Mini Golf reopening, we have the park hopper PLUS option. Can we visit both Blizzard Beach and play mini golf on the same day?
This is a good question— one I want to know as well!
I’m pretty sure you can do both water park and mini golf in one day (just uses 2 credits), but can’t do 2 mini golfs same day.
WDW site says, ‘Only one miniature golf visit per day.’ That’s the only one they specify not being able to double up in 1 day.

‘Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits.’
^here they call them visits, not days. Only call the theme park ticket by days. Confusing, yes 🤣 The extras work like credits.
Can anybody confirm with recent experience?

You can. You get an equal number of visits to the "plus" options as your length of ticket. So if you have a 4-day ticket you would have 4 admissions to the "plus" options (water parks, mini golf, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Oak Trail Golf Course, and NBA Experience). However, you cannot visit both miniature golf courses (Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland) on the same day. Here is the exact wording from the Park Hopper Plus Option details:

Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. For each visit, you can choose one of the following:
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
This thrilling water park features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family.

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park* (Currently Unavailable)
From fast waterslides to a children's area with pint-sized raft rides, this water park has attractions for everyone. Catch 6-foot waves or float on an inner tube down a lazy river.
    • * As a reminder Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park remains closed at this time.
  • NBA Experience (Currently Unavailable)
Enter an immersive world where all of your basketball dreams are just a layup away. Inside the impressive venue inspired by modern-day NBA arenas, you can enjoy 13 unique experiences that merge the magic of Disney with the thrills of the NBA.
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (Currently Unavailable)
Discover world-class venues where sports dreams can come true for athletes of all ages.

  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – FootGolf
Played over Disney’s 9-hole golf course, FootGolf combines the excitement of golf with the fast-paced nature of soccer for a unique experience. The precision sport requires players to kick a soccer ball into a cup, in a similar fashion to regular golf, using as few attempts as possible.
  • Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
Enjoy a 2,913 yard, par 36, 9-hole walking course with fun for everyone, from developing golfers to experienced players. Greens fees only.

  • Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (prior to 4PM)
Play one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at a fun course inspired by the Disney classic film Fantasia.

  • Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (Currently Unavailable)
Treat yourself to one round of miniature golf (prior to 4:00 PM) at either of 2 Santa Claus-themed courses.

All tickets and options are nontransferable and nonrefundable and exclude activities/events separately priced. Parks, attractions and other offerings subject to availability, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability. Water parks subject to rehabilitation, seasonal and weather closures.

It is stinky how they’re holding everything back.

It was understandable when necessary. Guests booked these summer trips with good will to accept the limitations of WDW during a pandemic. Clearly the decision to hold EVERYTHING back to Oct 1st is not related and not necessary. It’s a bit of a boot to the face. WDW taking advantage of that good will.

Searched but didn’t find an answer…Super excited that Burudika band from Animal Kingdom (aka Wassalou) will be performing at Disney Springs tonight and for other nights in July. Has anyone found the showtimes or any info about on which stage they’ll be performing?

I'll join. Dancing in hopes of better hours, and more dining options to open up.

Especially hoping for Crystal Palace characters to return, and HDDR.
