For those not missing FP...we're your experiences prior to the huge re ent increase in capacity?
Our trip started the Thursday prior to Memorial Day and ended on June 5th. This was a couple weeks after Chapek announced they were increasing capacity, but there is no way to know when that started. The parks were plenty busy. Ride operations were not an issue, quick service food operations were definitely struggling.

I am not sure if you have been to the parks since FP has been removed. The standby lines move through so much more smoothly without FP, I honestly didn’t miss them this last trip.

No, I haven't-- Our last trip was supposed to be July 2019, but had to cancel- Ive heard ppl say that, but I think this is a different animal--- First summer that the parks are getting back to normal, and much bigger crowds---

as an oregonian, i am not afraid of rain
That doesn't mean it's not going to rain much, which is what your other post said. Its not about being afraid, just expect many rides to close when it does storm. Florida and Oregon couldn't have much different weather.

from what I've seen, theres plenty to do inside

No worries, not offended :)

I appreciate the sentiment as well!

This is a rumor thread after all, and after last week I thought I would share that I'm hearing something is coming that will hopefully make people a bit happier. I got excited and shared, and I honestly get the skepticism. Even insiders can get this stuff wrong because Disney is Disney and everything is constantly in flux. If/when I hear more details/timing and can share more I will. The last thing I want to do is violate my friend's trust and put them at risk.

Just trying to spread some hope and sunshine ppl! :cool1: :duck:

The only thing that would make us happy at this point is that "Rivers of Light" is finally opening !! :))
