After last week; I think my hopes are up. I'm thinking there will probably be no fastpass or Typhoon Lagoon this summer

I really wish there was,but many on a different thread make a really good point about if they were going to open TL this summer; at the very least there would've already been an announcement...it's basically already the end of June. When I take my wishful thinking out of it; it just doesn't make sense that they would open it for half of summer...I'm thinking they may get it ready to openin time for when BB goes down for refurbishment, but I really doubt anything before that.

I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't see either coming back soon...if they're working on changing fastpass anyways; why would they bring it back just to change it again soon...like I said I hope I'm wrong, but I had to start taking my own wants out of the equation and sadly this is what I've settled on.

I am still hopeful for some more shows for later this summer.

Could the delay in FP be staffing? They have people that work the FP lines and may not have the staff for it yet.

The dates were also wrong if you looked at it. They were the 2021 dates with a changed year. WDW Marathon should be that weekend, but Princess has historically been the weekend after President's Day and I'm not sure why they'd have it on a holiday weekend now

I went to this place at Dineyland Resort (Downtown Disney) and it is really great. They have interesting and unique flavors, and the staff was very helpful. When my buddy just couldn't decide between two flavors, they tossed in a kid's cone of one of them for free. It's a very cool place and am glad to see it coming to Disney Springs!

Plus if you look up all the permits they filed for construction work most of them listed start dates for this week to begin refurbishments in the waterpark. If anything, that tells me it won't be opening up within the next few weeks depending on how extensive the work is? I suppose part of what would push them is seeing if BB reaches capacity at all which doesn't seem to be the case from what I've read on here?

We were disappointed, we added the water park option and that was our first choice but oh well, there's always a future trip!

As for slow news, we just had a fireworks announcement last week! Which followed lifting all the mask/distancing requirements no one was too fond of. Plus this week it seems everyday a single rider line is opening or pre shows are returning. I'm pretty darn happy about all that for our trip this week!

Agreed. There haven't been big announcements but all the little things added together is starting to feel big! Wish I was going back for a trip next week! Haven't even been back 5 days and I'm counting down to our next trip... 99 days to go...
