Aerophile, the tethered balloon at Disney Springs, will be closing soon for a refurbishment. The refurbishment is scheduled to start October 17 and run through October 27, reopening to guests on October 28th.

I was just looking at pictures from my October 2017 trip and noticed that exact same star. I don’t remember seeing anything else Christmas related during that trip.

RUMOR: Typhoon Lagoon Preparing for Fall 2021 Reopening at Walt Disney World

Now, BlogMickey.com sources have indicated that the pools are being refilled, and the shops and restaurants prepared as Cast Members begin to be called back to Typhoon Lagoon! As of publish time, Disney has not made any announcements about the status or return of Typhoon Lagoon, but we expect to hear more in the coming weeks.

I REALLY don't see that happening. I think best case scenario is TL opens when BB goes down for refurb...not sure exactly when that is, but I don't think there's a chance they'll have both water parks open until at least the Spring.

I was watching a live stream of Yehaa Bob's first return performance tonight and he was singing a song from Hoop Dee Doo that they no longer sing. The interesting part is he casually mentioned before he started the song that Hoop Dee Doo is supposed to return in January. I hope he is right and wish it was sooner but still good news if that is the plan.

Good Morning Everyone!! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!


Soo… a week has passed, and I’ve been hard at work trying to brush up on my craft. @HokieRaven5 offered to help me practice and even do a routine with me, and I think we’re making some amazing progress!! I took some video footage of the practices so I can share them with you! Please keep in mind…he’s new at this!!!!


So. Before getting started, I asked him to show me his best moves - you know, put it all out there for me!!!

I knew right off the bat I was screwed, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. So we started off slow and tried some simple dance partner moves.

Rough start, but let’s keep going. We need to learn how to spin. All dance partners spin. How hard could it be?!

I agree, that sucked. But I’m not giving up. I suggested we slow down and just get some basic moves down pat. He didn’t listen.

After a quick ambulance ride and brief stay in the ER, we were back to work!! We all know I love a good lift at the end of my dances, so I said it was imperative we work on them! Lets just say, we’re better off keeping our feet on the ground!!

After many hours of practicing together, I thought it would be best to have him practice himself, so he took two weeks to just find his groove. He sent me this video and I was so proud!





I mean, yeah he made a huge improvement, but got a little too cocky when we did a little pre-Friday dance for a wedding reception.

But in the end, he really busted his butt, and I think he came a long way!!!! Rock on with your bad self @HokieRaven5! Hopefully you helping me out with this weeks dance will get us some more great news from The News Gods!!!

While I would be happy for it to return. It is such a fun show. I would also be sad for us, as our trip is at Christmas.

I also noticed how close the tables were and since its a lounge no one (maybe very few) was wearing masks and it was packed, so over the picking and choosing what is safe and, time to drop them again.
