Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2023 Edition

Wow, I never had any issues with the luggage delivery except the time I forgot to stop at the desk at the DME loading place and let them know. I finally got my bags after I stopped by Bell Services and told them, and then they were able to clear up the issue...
Absolutely LOVED not having to schlep bags around the airport and lugging them back to the airport from the resort!
Especially if you have young kids. It was a godsend. My kids are older now and it's not so bad but when they were toddlers the last thing we needed was dealing with bags too.

Yeah, I did the checked bag once and I didn't see my bag until like 1 AM. I wasn't thrilled about that.
Same here. It may be a fairly uncommon experience, but it's not a risk I'll ever take again. Not a fun way to start a WDW vacation--fretting over what you're going to wear, how you're going to get clothes, etc.

I think it was worse if you arrived kind of late. We needed to go to bed and still hadn't received ours. Had to get our son out of bed when they finally arrived, so that he could brush his teeth. We didn't do that again either.

We generally use carry-ons, so this has never been much of an issue. If there's concern, though. I would keep essentials in a backpack, and live out of that for as short a time as necessary.

Donald Duck & Daisy Duck Sighting Relocated at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With Chip & Dale leaving the Hollywood Brown Derby lawn open, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck have moved into the space. The Hollywood Brown Derby meet and greet space can be one of two locations – either on the actual lawn near the entrance to the restaurant or in a garden area along Hollywood Blvd nearby. When we visited Hollywood Studios earlier this morning, Donald and Daisy were doing some gardening as guests strolled by and snapped distanced selfies.
