Kona Cafe Has Soft Opening at Polynesian Resort

We spoke to a Cast Member who said Kona Cafe plans to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner today and tomorrow, but noted that there may not be continuous food service until the official opening on Tuesday when each meal will absolutely be served. The restaurant described this early reopening as a special surprise for guests, which is why it’s not guaranteed that each meal will be served until Tuesday.

November 14, 15, and 18 are the latest dates to reach capacity. The first nine nights are now sold out, and the total number of sold out dates is eleven, with thirteen still available.

Shanghai Disney Resort Closing Indefinitely Again Due to COVID-19

“In order to follow the requirement of pandemic prevention and control, Shanghai Disney Resort, including Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown, and Wishing Star Park will be closed starting Monday, October 31, 2022, with immediate effect. We will notify guests as soon as we have a confirmed date to resume operations. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide refunds or exchanges for all guests impacted during this period. 100 Years of Wonder Celebration Bringing Entertainment, Activities, and More to Disneyland Paris in 2023

Building on Disneyland Paris’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, 100 Years of Wonder will also come to life at the resort, starting with an exclusive moment during their New Year’s Eve party and followed by a year of surprises.

To mark the 100-year anniversary on October 16, 2023, guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind entertainment program, character performances, and exclusive Disney activities throughout the day. After October 16, additional, never-seen-before exclusive activities will also take place at Disneyland Paris as part of the Disney100 celebrations. Space Mountain Closed for 2nd Consecutive Day in Magic Kingdom

So we arrived at Magic Kingdom on Halloween to discover that Space Mountain was closed again. After speaking to a Cast Member we learned that the coaster reopened briefly last night, but there have been issues with the ride this morning.

Disney+ Star Wars Series ‘The Acolyte’ Has Begun Filming

According to Bespin Bulletin, the series is filming at Shinfield Studios, Berkshire. Set photos from the production utilizing the large outdoor set located behind Shinfield Studios have also surfaced. Filming on the series will shoot through May 2023 and is expected to debut on Disney+ sometime in 2024.

Video Game News: EA and Marvel Entertainment Announce a Multi-Title Collaboration to Make Action Adventure Games

Electronic Arts Inc. today announced it is collaborating with Marvel on a long-term deal to develop at least three new action adventure games that will be available for consoles and PC. Each of these games will be their own original story set in the Marvel universe with the first title in-development being a single player, third person, action-adventure Iron Man game coming out of Motive Studios.
