They might be changing the origins because the Inhumans tv show bombed so bad and they just want to ignore their failure for a bit longer?

The Inhumans show was bad even compared to some of the 80s and 90s superhero genre TV ... they need to scrub that from continuity and creatively reboot the Inhumans in the MCU as they already have Eternals and Celestials ... and work Daisy/Quake into the MCU

They probably changed Kamala's powers as they may be a little too close to Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic (FF4) which will be a big MCU tentpole film. I trust what Feige and the MCU producers have been planning and do like that they're taking big swings with D+ series ... Everything from WandaVision to She-Hulk will have some decent variety. There's a chance this may not be a priority watch for me (can't please everyone) ... but as long as it's got good writing and characters I encourage them to keep up the variety

Cars Land Attractions to Close for Refurbishment in April 2022 at Disney California Adventure

Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, a trackless attraction that takes guests through “car-eographed” dances in the storage yard of Casa Della Tires will be closed from April 11-14, 2022 for refurbishment.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree is a spinner-type attraction that invites guests to climb aboard a tractor for a tow-tappin’ hoedown. The refurbishment of Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree begins April 25th and doesn’t have an end date yet.

The variety is great, though I worry with some of it. Ms. Marvel was a big enough character to warrant it, but in some cases they are really digging into some bad and or failed concepts. I shuddered when I saw Moon Knight in the suit and tie outfit! Honestly, Moon Knight is a D-lister even in his earlier and better stories! Ironheart? Does anybody even want that? My worry is that ht eMCU, like the comics, will become hit and miss - and unfortunately the misses will bring the hits down.

Disney Vacation Club announces plans for a new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Disney’s Announcement:

“It’s no secret that our Members and Guests love the monorail resorts at Walt Disney World,” said Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club. “Expanding our Disney Vacation Club offerings at the Polynesian would give our Members and Guests yet another incredible option for staying close to the magic while making vacation memories that last a lifetime.”

Inspired by the early concepts for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the Imagineers of today are honoring the past while furthering the resort story with this innovative addition. Projected to open in late 2024, the proposed vacation ownership property would complement the existing resort and evoke the spirit of the Pacific Islands.

Situated on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, the proposed property would join the rest of the resort in offering stunning views of the Magic Kingdom. Proposed plans would offer additional rooms, new recreation offerings and dining options. More information and project details will be shared at a later date.

Since 2015, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows has been a favorite resort destination, offering an island paradise in the middle of the magic. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows currently has 380 Disney Vacation Club villas, including the largest Deluxe Studios at any Disney Vacation Club resort at Walt Disney World and unique two-bedroom Bora Bora Bungalows, located over the waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon – the first of their kind at Disney.

So they keep putting up DVC towers ... but they stopped development of the River Country area? I guess it's easier to keep cramming in towers where there's already existing infrastructure.

Ugh. That semi open space is going to be so congested now!! Used to be such a nice walk from the Poly to the GF. And that building is going to dwarf the longhouses. Not very authenticaly Polynesian....

Not a fan of the giant tower. We prefer the spread out buildings like what’s already there. That walk to GF won’t be as peaceful

Ouch. This will keep me away from staying at a monorail resort. Imagine the lines during peak times. RIP the already crowded Polynesian Lobby.

Couldn't they make it look like it fits in more? I'm not a fan of all the boring towers.
