I've heard similar rumors from Disney Dish and Provost Park Pass, indicating multiple sources and high reliability on the big idea, if not the details.

Rumor: Major overhaul of Disney Park Pass reservations and Park Hopping coming to Walt Disney World in the new year

Based on significant push-back from guests on the current reservation system, much of the existing Disney Park Pass system will be removed and simplified, providing guests with an experience closer to pre-pandemic conditions.

Park hopping will return for date-based tickets at any time and will no longer be restricted to 2pm. Annual Passholders will still be restricted but will likely be able to park hop earlier than the current 2pm limit.

Date-based Walt Disney World theme park tickets will no longer require a Park Pass reservation, with park entry secured upon purchasing the ticket. Annual Passholders will still need a reservation, at least initially.

Disney introduced Park Pass as a way to control attendance and labor, and these changes in early 2023 may at first appear to be reducing Disney's operational control. However, the new system will control attendance by limiting ticket sales for a given day rather than selling an unlimited number of tickets and restricting access via a Park Pass.

These changes have been in the works for the last few months, and although the system is nearly ready, we understand it will not debut until early 2023, most likely in January.

I wonder if this will still include those single day park-based tickets we heard about earlier this month?

I wonder only because back in the early 2000s, at least on the West Coast, you bough a single day ticket for a particular park.

So it wouldn't really be "keeping the park pass" as much as "reverting to former policy)"

Same! I would totally understand their desire to preserve "rope drop" and those early hours.

Shanghai Disneyland Announces Parade Featuring ‘Zootopia,’ New ‘Snowies’ Plush, and More Christmas Offerings

The new Disney Winter Frostival will begin on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will ride their own snowmobile-inspired “Zootopia” float in the new Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade. The float also features a “Zootopia” streetlamp and Mr. Big the Arctic shrew crime boss. Chip, Dale, Clarice, Pluto, Goofy, and Clarabelle are walking behind the float in their holiday outfits, followed by a skating Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible leading a Frozone float.

Duffy and ShellieMay are on their own float with two “Snowies” figures resembling Mickey and Minnie.

Ice sculptures of various Disney characters will be in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle. In the above photo, Mickey and Minnie are getting ready to go skiing while Chip and Dale snowboard in between them.

Holiday Season Offerings At Gideon’s Bakehouse

Starting now, you can get several holiday-themed treats! Most of these items are returning from years past, so we already know how delicious they are. First up, the Kris Kringle Cookie is returning. It’s a White Chocolate Coffee Bean Cookie made with Coconut, Caramel, and Vanilla Bean notes, and it’s available now through December 31st.




The ⁣Cookie Vom Krampus is also making a comeback — this is a deeply rich super Chocolate Cookie that’s “infused with the icy cool of a frozen heart and covered in dreadfully delicious Andes Mint.” It’s also available now through December 31st.






If you’re a fan of cake, you can get the Kris Kringle Cake, which is a ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣”Soft Vanilla Cake filled with specs of ground coffee and covered in a fluffy Marshmallow Buttercream blended with Coconut and Vanilla Bean flavors and ribboned with housemade Salted Caramel.”



Or try the NEW Cake Vom Krampus! This is a “sinful Red Velvet Cake covered in an ultra Mint Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting.” Both cake slices are available at Disney Springs on select days through December 31st.



The Krampus Cold Brew is Gideon’s classic cold brew mixed with a “rich and velvety Chocolate Mint homemade sauce.”

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind “Holiday Remix” Debuts at EPCOT

Not exactly what I was expecting, but it's nice to see they did a brand new song themed around the ride. Obviously a a take on 'Run Run Rudolph', but the Rocket version sounds like they changed up the lyrics quite a bit.

I would still prefer holiday hits instead of the new song, but they did put some effort into this.
