New Disney Vacation Club villas construction update from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort​

Extensive construction is still taking place at the Big Pine Key building which is being converted into a new Disney Vacation Club property.



Scaffolding still covers a large section of the building and work is continuing on replacing the roof tiles.



The ends of the building with the emergency staircases are being enclosed after being stripped of walls in the early stages of the project..

Just saw it---- (No spoilers) --- DS11 loved it--- I thought it was good--- as expected, the animation is brilliant--- the space scenes are amazing- The storyline--- not the best - but son loved it, so Im good-

Shang-Chi Character Returns to Avengers Campus, Now Wearing Superhero Suit and Ten Rings​

Shang-Chi has returned to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure. He first appeared last fall during the film’s release, wearing normal clothes and his red and white bomber jacket. Death Dealer also appeared, and they performed a brief stunt show.

Disney Parks announced on TikTok that Shang-Chi is back, and he is now wearing his superhero outfit.

I'd call it really good personally, though I also hyped it up in my head a bit based on the first trailer. It's certianly not a bad movie, but it didn't quite live up to its potential.

I haven’t followed the exact timing but aren’t guests supposed to begin staying here in like 3 days? Has there been any word on guests that had it booked opening day or does Disney still think will make timeline?

‘Zootopia+’ Series Premiering on Disney+ in November​

The “Zootopia+” series will premiere on Disney+ on November 9, 2022.

Ashley Eckstein Is Coming to Disney Springs on June 20



Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano throughout most of the Star Wars franchise so far, will be stopping by the Star Wars Trading Post in Disney Springs for a special visit on Monday, June 20th.

She will be greeting fans from 10AM to 12 PM. A limited number of the Ewok Ear Headbandsthat she designed will be available for sale, and she’ll sign a special headshot photo for you for each pair of ears you purchase. The virtual queue to meet her will open at 9AM, so stop by the Trading Post at that time to get in line.

We are staying at GF currently and would guess they are on track. These pics are a few days old. The construction walls are down, the staircases are enclosed and painted and today it looked like on the exterior just a little roof work they were finishing up. They have been working around the clock it seems. So it seems like they’re pushing through to make sure it opens on time.

Anyone know how (and how early) to be there? I’m assuming Uber? When do they let you in? My son really wants to meet her so he’s going to go- just not sure how to best advise him!
