I wonder how long the Elliot bucket will last. I hope it's still there in June, but I have set my expectations low.

I hope it’s still there for you!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 They really are adorable!!!

Do you guys think the Elliott Bucket will be more popular than the Figment bucket?!?

There were actually 2 threads. One got locked, and the other deleted. The deleted had devolved into the typical politics.

I have been to the ice cream place in Epcot France. It's pretty good but really basic flavors. Who else is better than Salt & Straw?
I was talking about DisneyLAND, sorry :) My comment was referring to how we never visit that Salt and Straw (which is hardly ever that busy anyways)

It's hard to say. Disneylanders can go nuts over stuff, and they really love MSEP. However, if they can't get into the park like normal due to reservations and block out dates, then it might hang around for a while. I haven't looked to see if Refreshment Corner does mobile order or not. If it does, that would help.

Oooh, what place do you like at Disneyland? I think I have only eaten ice cream at Salt & Straw at Disneyland, besides dole whip, which doesn't count. Hitting DLR in June.

BREAKING: Disneyland Resort Will Not Allow Renewal of Dream and Believe Magic Key Passes

As of November 24, 2021, both passes were declared “sold out” and made unavailable to purchase. Since the passes only became available last August, it was unclear how renewal would be handled for “sold out” categories.

Now that guests’ passes are approaching their expiry dates, they are being informed that the Dream Key and Believe Key are sold out “at this time” and “currently not available for renewal.”

Disney recently came under fire due to the “no blackout dates” benefit of the Dream Key Pass as passholders still must acquire reservations. A civil lawsuit filed against the company claims that the lack of reservation availability is equivalent to blackout dates and therefore violates the contract.

Wow! This is pretty significant, right?? Because the lower tier passes block out a LOT (including Saturdays). I'm sure this is going to cause a lot of people to worry about WDW APs (myself included!). We renewed in August and are still under the old pass system because it was right before the switch and will have to decide what to do come August when we have to renew under the new passes. But who knows... they may not even allow renewal of those pass types by then.

I heard on the radio that if they move to dissolve RCID there are 5 other special districts in Florida they must dissolve as well.
Can't pick and choose on issues like this.
Also all those county residents will now pick up the tab for everything WDW paid for in the past . . . . .or I could be wrong, heard that on the radio as well.
I heard one or more of these other districts is in the villages so this is going to be a very interesting thing to follow

I wonder if being filled with what are essentially nachos vs popcorn will make a difference

I know at present the legacy holders at world can renew into pirate, sorcerer or incredi but I wonder now how long this will last

I am not sure I am as worried about WDW. Since DL and WDW are so different.

It's really not. there's a lot of better ice cream in the parks, so we almost never go there. The last time we went it was because I had a coupon 🤣
It’s not my fave, but what’s nice is that you can get dairy free ice cream at Salt & Straw. I’m not a big ice cream person, but when I do crave it, I only have dairy free. It does always smell amazing though when you’re walking past it in DTD!

Mrsap, can you please dance for AP sales this week? I really thought for sure they'd be selling them by next February. Now I'm worried and a little sad. I really only go every few years when they will sell me an AP, and I go for a few trips during that year.
I got you!!!! I’ll put it all out there for AP sales to come back!! Hopefully the News Gods are watching! 😊

Since they’ve released fall D+ and Disney Visa room discounts, has anyone heard any rumors about if/when general public or passholder discounts might show up?
Not sure what dates you're looking for. There's a general public room discount for Disney+ members that is for July 7 - Sep 30th. This offer has been out for about a month now. Possibly that may be of help as it's for more dates than the Visa?

I'm not sure if they'll offer something for 'general public' without Disney+ as I think they're trying to encourage those who don't have it to purchase to get the savings. But those are just my thoughts.
