Disney neckties

do you or anyone in your family wear Disney neckties. for what occasions, and how many do they own..??

DH has 2 I think, maybe 3. They are very subtle Mickeys. He wears them to work and weddings.

I have 4. Wear them all the time to work. Have my golf ball Mickey shapes one on right now.

Gene doesn't have to wear a tie very often, but when he does he wears his Mickey tie.

My DH has all kinds of Disney and other cartoon character ties and the brighter the better. He will only wear White button down shirts and dark pants he says so that he doesn't have to think when he gets ready in the mornings then he jazzes it up with a bright tie. He gets all kinds of comments on them so they are a great conversation piece. He even has some that he wears for certain days like a Mickey baseball one that he wears on opening day etc. Go for it.

DH has a few Pooh ties (maybe 3) that he used to wear quite often to work in the days of suits and ties. The last time he wore one was about 2 years ago for DD's readoption hearing.

I can relate to his way of thinking...I only wear black pants and prefer black shirts..with a few lighter colors{grey, lavender,french blue} for hotter weather...my color comes strictly from my collection of 100 Mickey ties....they are definitely conversation starters, I have people stop me just to see what tie I'm wearing.. I have the Mickey holiday ties..and the Mickey holiday ties..if Mickey isn't on a tie, I will not wear it.

I also have several Mickey vest and bowtie sets to go with my tux...LOL

oops...should have been Mickey Holiday ties, and Mickey sports ties....

I guess I'm hoping for a holiday and a day off work...LOL

That's so cool you have so many ties. My dad has 2 that I have bought for him. Both very subtle with the Mickey's. I have one I am considering for him but haven't decided if he'd like it enough or not

On the suggestion of a friend I got a very nice on for DH in WDW from my last trip. I have not seen him wear it yet. Very subtle and very cool tie.

DH is an eighth grade math teacher and has enough disney, warner bros., marvel comic, etc. to get through the entire school year wearing each tie only twice

My DH just bought his first Mickey Mouse necktie last week on our Disney Magic cruise. He wanted something to wear with his suit on semi-formal night. It's royal blue with very subtle Mickey's on it. He wore it to church his past Sunday when we got home.

I have maybe six or seven that I bought on our last trip. My job required ties. We got bought out and now we don't need to wear them. Maybe I should sell them on Ebay?!?!?! I also have a couple of pairs of Mickey socks.

My DH doesn't wear ties to work most of the time anymore...but he has 2. One is a very obvious (big) bouncing Tigger on a navy background. He would wear it on more casual days like right before a weekend or vacation or on days when he wanted to "lighten up" a difficult meeting or situation. He also has a very subtle classy looking one in grayish/blue colors with tiny black Mickeyhead pattern.
Oh, and he is now sporting a camoflage colored Mickey antenna head on his truck, courtesy of his DW and he loves it!!

I have 2 Disney ties, and I wear both of them as often as I can. One is Goofy with a huge hamburger, the other is the wide world of sports with mickeys being different sports....

MY DH doesn't wear ties to work, but he has about 6-7 of them. We always check out the ties when we go to WDW to see if there is anything new, that is subtle, to add to HIS collection! He almost always wears one of them when the occasion calls for a tie.

(although I'm sure my boss' would appreciate it if I did LOL) - My most recent one was from WDW ( It has the Icons from all the parks on it. I saw it and Chris picked it up and gave it to me for Christmas.

I only have 2 ties now. (back in the corporate world I must have had 50!) Only one is a Disney tie. Nice navy silk with Mickey's head on it. You really have to stare at it to see him. I have only worn it once to a funeral. I know she would have appreaciated it.
