Well, I actually agree with Yoho (a first?) that Roy never actually ever did anything unless it affected his wellfare, however I disagree with Yoho and his belief that it was outsiders who coined Roy "the idiot nephew" I believe the evidence is sufficient to prove that it was in fact Walt ... It just comes down to which biogrophies you choose to believe ... Not to mention that this type of comment certainly fits Walt's well documented rough and gruff work life personality ... Just my opinion, of course...

Everything I've read suggests it was Card Walker that coined the phrase.
Of course, who said it really doesn't matter and given the ruin that ultimatly resulted, perhaps the assessment was accurate

Mr Pirate, All this agreement is sickening.

As has been suggested, Everything that Disney did in the early 80s that created the Disney Decade was in motion under Ron Miller's leadership.

The only thing that Eisner did was to get rid of Card Walker who was the person really holding the company back. Of course, Walker had retired and was relinquishing power. Had Walker not insulted Roy, perhaps Eisner would have ruined another company.

LOL! Card Walker...I know recent factions have hypothisized that he was greater than he was given credit for but I'm not buying it. If it looks and smells like **** then I'm thinkining it's ****!
