Disney Must Do's

I am planning a trip to Disney World with our family in January and want to know your must do's. There will be 11 of us ranging in age from 6 months to 68 years old though we won't always be with the whole group. It can be something you have to eat, a ride you must do, ANYTHING! Help me plan!

For restaurant reservations you want to try booking sooner then later. A lot of options will already be sold out but here are some you can try.

Le Celliar in Epcot for lunch or dinner
Wishes Dessert Party in the Magic Kingdom
Chef Mickey's if you're looking for a character meal
50's Prime Time Cafe for a "fun" family meal
Fantasmic Dinner package if you plan on seeing Fantasmic

If you plan on getting a lot of pictures taken consider pre-ordering aDisney PhotoPass CD

My main word of advice is READ READ READ! The planning is half the fun of going to Disney. You're on a Disney forum so thats a good step. Some other sites are ToureGuideMike.com, RideMax.com, and TouringPlans.com

I agree with the previous post. I would start by making dining reservations sooner than later. Some will get full. 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios is a restaurant that we always must do and great for groups. We also really enjoy the Biergarten in Epcot but I am not sure if they would have to divide your group since most tables there are for 8. The Spirit of Aloha luau at the Polynesian is one we do for groups but that is 2 table service credits per person on the dining plan - the show while you eat is cheesy, but the show after dinner is awesome. I would add the Flights of Wonder bird show in Animal Kingdom to the list. It is a great show for all ages and we were pleasantly surprised by it - ages at the time were 5 to 68 and everyone loved it. Have a great time!
