Especially for the Escape brides, how are the violinists?

my escape wedding violinist was AMAZING! he walked around taking requests from people at the champagne and cake ceremony. my maid of honor requested "one jump" from aladdin and he said "i dont know that one" so he took out his ipod listened to the song once, and then played the entire thing perfectly. he was great. the ceremony music was also beyond beautiful. i was very pleased with their caliber of musicians

You have to be talking about Rob. He is the BEST Violinist Disney has.
He is so talented and the guests love him. He plays for Wishes Weddings too.

My MIL asked for a song he'd never heard of, my FIL hummed it a bit and he played it!

I don't know if you can have a harpist for an Escape wedding, but we had one for our Wishes wedding and she was fabulous. Everyone loved her and on the video she sounded beautiful.

Our violinist was fantastic - he also took requests and was so friendly, plus the standard of his playing was wonderful! I don't know what his name was, but I've seen him in other people's wedding photos

Ours was fabulous ! My MOH is in the St. Louis Symphony and she was impressed. He took requests and played everything from Disney to classical to Sponge Bob theme. he knew them all and wanted the challenge of someone asking for something he couldn't play. The kids had a blast trying to stump him !

i was all gun ho for "someday my prince will come" to be played for my grooms entrance and it ended up not being that great. the musicians add alot of fluff to it because it is so simple so it didn't really even sound like it. I was iffy on using "part of your world " for the bridesmaids entrace and it ended up being really really beautiful, im so glad that i stuck with that, i was deciding between that and a dream is a wish your heart makes from cinderella. im glad i stuck with my instincts on that one. and of course we had "when you wish upon a star" for our exit and that was amazing as well.

Our violinist was incredible too! I know that technically there is only supposed to be a "first dance" song for the reception, but we also asked for a mother-son dance and father-daughter dance, and it was no problem. I gave sheet music for all the songs, and the one I did for the dance with my dad was an old Irish love song that my dad loved that hardly anyone knows. The violinist played it perfectly!

And after that, he just kept playing, and he was taking requests from my family! I don't know that he could play everything they asked, but I think he did manage to play a few things people asked him to play. Everyone really enjoyed his playing.

We actually debated at first about bringing an iPod and speakers to get the songs we wanted for the reception dances, but I'm so glad we just stuck with the violinist. It was really beautiful.
