Disney Musicians

Hi everyone!!

I was wondering about the musicians that are available from Disney. We were thinking of going with the guitarist for our ceremony. Are they willing to play things that we request? Do we have to get them the sheet music? How does it work??

Most of their musicians have a wide repertoire of standard Disney songs. Your WP can find out whether or not they know the songs you want - if not you have to get them sheet music. But it's pretty easy to turn up charts/sheet music online using Google.

One thing about sheet music - make sure its for the instrument you want, or you will have to transpose it into the right key, which is a pain in the butt!

Not usually, not good sheet music at least. Most sheet music found for free online is for middle school aged students beginning to learn their instrument. You'll have to purchase it, most likely. A lot of places let you see a snippet of it to see if it's what you want. If you can't read music you can always find a musician to look at it for you and let you know if it's what you're looking for.

Even if you have to buy the sheet music, it's not terribly expensive...

We had microphones for the groom and officiant and then a CD player for our music all running through a sound system with two speakers. The package came with a tech to run it. It was $785, but with tax and service charge (yes... there's even a service charge on AV equipment...) it came out to $993 Still, it was worth it to us b/c music was such an important part of our ceremony.

Also, the prices are different for the different locations in Epcot, so yours might not be as much.
