Disney Movie Title Info

I have been trying to remember the title of an old movie -- I think it is a Disney movie. It was an old b/w movie; it had fairies or some type of little people. I can remember a chase scene where all the girls were trying to catch this one boy and the winner got to marry the guy. And he was trying to get one of the girls to catch him because that was the one he loved.

Sounds like The Gnome-Mobile from 1967. It was shot in color; perhaps you saw it on a B&W TV. It definitely features the scene you describe. It also co-stars Karen Dotrice and Matthew Garber, who had played Jane and Michael Banks in Mary Poppins.
