After buying 2 movies and getting enough points for the Dancing Inferno Magic pin - let me just say that I am more than a little disappointed. Please learn from my mistake. I entered the code and sure enough I got the Inferno pin. However, it is a single use and expires in 7 days. There is nothing in the rewards description that indicates it is only a single use. If there were, I definitely would not have used the points on that item. Now could it be a mistake - who knows? Guess that is how the value will stay high for the previously awarded pins.

It's a MISTAKE, Cat. Disney is well aware of it and are working on it. You need to use Contact Us (I believe) and explain what happened. There's a thread about it on the first page here that gives the details what to do... Lots of ppl are running into this problem. Sorry it happened!

Aww Cat, this is a known problem. Please send your info to Contact Us and let them know that it happened to you. VMK is aware of it.

Send the code you used and an explaination to the Contact Us.
VMK is working on this and are aware of the problem like the others have said.
Also- I was advised that you DO NOT use the Single Use Inferno until the issue is cleared up.

just wondering but wat if it comes to the point of the seven days is up and it expires? Wat do we do then?
 
When you send a note to contact us it is very important that you do so with the character on which you entered the code. Also, include the code in your note.

I don't think it will come to be that point, but if it does VMK should have already heard from us before then and if they had to I am sure they have it in the records that you entered the code anyways :) I just wouldn't use it as you never know what could come of it :scared1:

It did not ask for any other explaination and I could not give any more information. I then selected "none of the above" under what problem I was having and detailed the problem and included the code and it said to rephrase my question.

How has everyone else contacted VMK?

I have had the same problem as everyone else with the codes.. As far as this statement it concerned I only used contact us now with the having a problem with a secret code for the helmet and window codes ( which btw has since been cleared up with my codes.. I was not notified I just waited a couple days and entered the codes again and they worked ) When it came to the inferno I just bypassed that having a problem with a secret code and right to other.. As stated above I did it under the account with the inferno and I have not even worn the pin let alone used it.. It is stashed in my inventory.. Hey has anyone had any luck with the inferno?? Have any of these 7 day single use pins been changed over to the correct one???:confused3
