I was bored this morning, and because I love the internet, I decided to check out what new stuff Disney was coming out with in the movieverse. I found out that they were making a live action Jungle Book, there's speculation about Disney coming out with a live action movie called Into The Woods, and they're of course making a new Disney Princess.

I'm not sure what to think about Into the Woods, as I have heard of it but never really seen it. I think the new princess idea is fine, and I've read that her name is Moana.

But I'm sorry to say that I'm not really into the whole Jungle Book thing. What has everyone else heard about this topic? Are there any other Disney movie projects in the works?

I've heard bits about Into the Woods, but nothing more. I'm sorry, but even though live action films are cool, it seems like all Disney is making them for is money, money, and money; not because it's a good idea or anything, as half of them they've already produced as cartoons. Same thing with sequels. They do 'em to get little green papers! I wish they would put more effort in (especially where Cinderella sequels are concerned). I believe there's a live action Cinderella coming out next year.

There is. I saw the trailer for it and all it was was a butterfly flying on a glass slipper which gave me no information at all.

I read about Into The Woods and it sounds good.

Disney Channel is making a movie called Descendents which reminds me of SOD and Anti SOD.

Into the Woods is a popular show in the theatre world, or at least, we like it where I am. Don't remember whether it's Broadway or not. There's a lot of different fairy tale characters, and their stories interact with the main quest. It's good. Frankly, I'm excited for it.

Into The Woods holds a special place to me as it's the first musical I've been apart. (Tech, but still.) It's very quirky and in the second act... quite dark. Stephen Soundheim also wrote Sweeney Todd. Like only four characters survive in Into the Woods. I'm a little disappointed when I heard Disney is lightning it up a lot, but I guess that'll be better for most people. Luckily Soundheim is a big part of the project.

I haven't seen it. No problem. And I think the musical is on Netflix. I recommend it, it's well done.
