Disney Mom Panel - Wish me luck

Since the application for this is now closed I could not look up to see what the requirements are. Could someone list the main ones , besides being a Mom,. Just curious if might want to apply next year and would like to mark the calendar to remember to look for the application.

The requirements are pretty minimal castleri. In fact, you don't actually have to be a Mom. This year you needed to have been to WDW within the last 12 months, be able to travel to WDW in December and can't be employed my Disney or work in the theme park or travel industries. You also must be able to commit to completing at least 25 written responses per week for a minimum of 24 months.

This is the first time I've applied so I can't say if these minimum requirements change from year-to-year.

I applied too...as a matter of fact I have applied every year since it started in 2008 and haven't been chosen yet :sad2:....however, this is the year!!! They have to pick me!!! I am a stay at home mom and my youngest son will be gone 3 days a week to preschool which leaves me lots of time to "work" from home!!!

I am keeping everything crossed and praying every night. This is the perfect job for one of us...giving Disney advice from our own home!

Good luck everyone!!!:wizard:

I applied too. Has anyone been contacted yet for the next round of selections

stmize, looking at Zannaland, it seems as if in past years the second round invites came out mid-Octoberish.

Actually, this year some of the positions are only requiring a 3 month commitment.

I'm a SAHM too and have plenty of time to answer my 25 questions a week. And time to dream of my next vacation and plan it out.

Got an email today stating I wasn't selected for the moms panel. Good luck to those that are

I'm out, too, but, goodness, do you think they looked at that?

I doubt it. I didn't try for DVC expert though, I went for the generic WDW. I still don't think they'd check how a DVC member became a member.
