I got POTC Mix Max player for my DS for Christmas for $20 which I thought was a great deal! BUT, I have a mac computer and all the instructions I can find are for PC only. Surely there has to be a way to transfer music and videos with my Mac. If anyone has a MAC and has figured out a way to do this I would so appreciate any tips you might have!

Transferring is a piece of cake.... Creating is a WHOLE different beast. Videos for this thing are a very special format.

If you have mp3's - they transfer like any other files and thumb drive...

Videos will tranfer easy too, but finding something to convert them right might be tough.

I have had the very same problem. Do you have parallels or boot camp? If you do then I would use the windows virtual machine to get the free conversion and encoding software.

The other option is to upgrade to Quicktime Pro and install the codec to convert to wmv9.

Good Luck!

Oh, this is the same process but for another player. Might help too.

We just had the songs in our itunes account and dragged and dropped like any other file. I had my dh do it, but he said it was easy.

The drag and drop works only if it is already in a compatible format to the device. That is the easy part. Its getting the cartoons or movies your kid wants on that player to actually work :scared1:
