Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but Disney has confirmed that they will extend the Disney Armed Forces Salute to Fiscal Year 2013 (official press release coming next week; ITT offices leaked the info). It appears that most of the details are the same with the exception of some price increases. For example, the DL/DCA 3-day park hopper has increased from $99 to $125.

Not in the military, so I can't take advantage of it, but I think this is a no-brainer and should be indefinite! Thank you for serving our country!!!

Anyone know if the price increase is immediate or after the original September 2012 end date?

heidica------the new price won't take effect until after the current promotion ends in Sept

I read today tickets purchased before the end of the current promotion will still only be able to be used through set 30.

I don't know the details of this offer, but can anyone tell me if it includes retired military?

Thanks! Good news for us.

This won't be a problem this time around because we are there September 9th-14th. It's still a great deal at $125 but every penny I can save I can use on souvenirs!

Has anyone here ever used the discount for the Disneyland hotels? (All three) And if so, What are the discounts? We will be in California next August and I want to stay at one of the Disney hotels if possible..

Yes, I have used them 2 years in a row, and this what they have been, no guarantee they will be the same, but hopefully they will be.

30% off rack Paradise Pier

35% DL Hotel

40% Grand Californian

Because of the differences the 3 hotels cost for standard rooms has been pretty comparable, I believe the difference for the DLH and the Grand was $20 a night

Just made my reservations for early December. The CM told me that all 3 hotels offer the discount range of 30-40%, greatly affected by season more so than property. I was given three quotes that reflected 30% at all 3 properties.

As an FYI, I was also told that you could get the AFS Tickets at the front gate as well with Military ID...soldier or spouse. :)
