Is pretty much all the park merchandise available online for purchase? Instead of buying stuff in the parks and having to take it home on the plane, can I just order it online?

Some is available from shopDisney.com, some isn't. If you have the shopDisney app loaded on your smartphone, you can scan the UPC on the price tag to see if it's available online.

No, in my experience, if you see something in the parks that you really do want, buy it. If you search the shop disney app as pp mentioned, you will know immediately if it's available but my experience is the parks/World of Disney have a better selection than shop disney. Also, if you don't want to wait to checkout, use the mobile check out feature, it's so much easier than waiting in line.

Amen to that. It's really spotty and I've curtailed a lot of my buying and really only purchase stuff I know I love and will either use or really really enjoy, but I'm partially glad shop disney doesn't have as much inventory/selection so I can't spend the $$.

I usually try to grab souvenirs for my niece and nephew, but nothing jumped out at me in April. At least nothing that I couldn't get at Target.

Bring all your purchases to the resort gift shop and they will mail all your stuff home. Bring all your receipts. I believe the maximum charge for shipping is $40.

Ebay resellers are also out there selling park merch.
I hate to give them any business, but I admit that I have done so in the past.

Since you will be in the parks, shipping stuff back home is a great option.

No, there is park-exclusive merchandise. However, you can have anything you purchase in the parks shipped to home for a fee. We've done this before with breakables. You just tell the cashier at checkout.

Well, after all this I have decided there are a couple of things I really need to pack that I can't carry on (like scissors for a specific purpose). So, I am checking a bag. And since it is Southwest, I am packing an extra duffle bag that maybe I will check on the way back, too. So, bottom line, now I can accidentally buy way too much stuff, .

Southwest is awesome for these return trips with extra Disney gear! I use the collapsible duffle regularly as a strategy to get merch home. Thank goodness for expandable checked baggage as well

Agree with others that if you see an item that you really want in the park, buy it rather than waiting for a later opportunity. Online can be very sporadic and things are hit and miss even at the parks.

Also consider taking advantage of sending items back to your room from the parks if you have a multi-day onsite stay and don’t wish to carry your purchases around the park all day. For other, more expensive items, shipping can be an excellent option.

That’s exactly what I did. Trudged into the POFQ with the items AND receipts - it was $35 and my HUGE box arrived at home 5 days later. It was worth every penny.

They do not do resort delivery or even hold merch at the front of the parks anymore. It did not come back after covid. Sadly - but good for my wallet!

Sad to hear they don’t offer the service presently! I used it a lot, historically, and it was very convenient. I guess I used magical express a lot historically too…..
