Disney merchandise day at Celebration, FL

Hi:
We have gone to the High School at Celebration during April when they have held a day where they were selling Disney merchandise at a discount. I think it was sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce - it coincided with the Great American Pie Contest. I can't seem to find any info on it - does anyone know if they still do this and, if so, when? Thanks for the help

that was when Celebration was part of Disney. It is now part of Kissimmee - so don't know if they will do this.

The sale was held at the middle-school and this is the first year that the sale will not take place.
If it should start again in the future, I will post.

It's not. It's unincorporated Osceola County.

I heard awhile back that the Disney Liquidation sale wouldnt be taking place this year,,I wonder if its due to the way that the Economy is It was a fantastic sale when it was on,,& yes do please post if & when it ever returns

No it wasn't because of the economy. I volunteered to work it for a number of years and was told by a reliable source that a union complained that non-union workers, volunteer Rotarians donating their time in order to raise funds to give back to the Celebration community, were being used. So Disney pulled the plug. It was a win, win situation, but it's over, for now any ways.
