Disney Memories Wedding - Down Payment?

Hi all,
We are planning on getting married at WDW in November. We cant start making plans until May this year.
My question is what, if any, down payment do they require right away up front? I know the minimum is $5,000 but I am wondering what is wanted right away.
Any help would be great!

Hi! There is no minimum spending requirement for Memories. It's a flat $2,495 for the package. The deposit is $500, due when you submit your signed contract.

If you're thinking of the Escape Collection, that is also a flat-rate package rather than a set of minimum expenditures. It starts at $5,500 and requires a $1,000 deposit when you sign the contract.
