I found one of my favorite Mattel Mulan fashion dolls and it is a Matchmaker Magic Mulan doll and she was part of Mattel's Mulan doll series from 1998. This Mulan doll is dressed in her outfit from the Honor To Us All song/matchmaker scene in Mulan and when you dip her powder puff in water you can make Mulan's makeup appear "and this was my favorite part of the doll" while warm water made Mulan's makeup disappear and she also came with two hair combs "one doll sized one for Mulan and a big sized one for you" and you could also make Mulan's hairdo just by gently pulling a bead string attached to her back. And this doll actually inspired me to dress up as Mulan for Halloween. This Mulan doll seemed to be scarce to find when it first came and my mom went to every store TRU and even the supermarket till Mom found this doll at Target. And it makes me think that that Mattel didn't produce enough of this Matchmaker Magic Mulan doll when she first was released. Is this one of the rarest Mattel Mulan dolls from the 1998 Mulan toyline?
