What kind of questions does she have? I actually have friend that works in the run disney area.

Rundisney should have the route mapped out under Runner Info. I know for Princess Half it's in Epcot's parking lot. Not sure about the January Marathon. Probably the same place.

I think all the resorts on site now are considered "host" resorts and they all have buses that take you to the start/finish.

For location, IMO, I don't think it matters because they all have the bus transportation, so just pick which one you like.

Start and Finish is Epcot. So a moderate resort in the Epcot Area would probably be Port Orleans I'd say the closest.

They do provide bus transportation to the start line.

For Marathon weekend the start and finish are in the Epcot parking lot as pp said (same as for Princess this weekend). All resorts are host resorts and their is bus transportation to everything all weekend. Disney makes it super easy for the runners for race weekends, especially Marathon weekend. The biggest thing to know is the registration fills up quick so she needs to be ready to register when it opens so she doesn't miss out.

Races start about 5:30AM and runners need to catch a bus from their resort no later than 3:30AM to get to the start on time. Start and finish are both in the Epcot parking lot (outside the park), so spectators don't need to pay to watch the runners start or finish. And spectators can watch on Main Street in MK without park admission, too.

Every resort should have bus transportation from their main bus stop for the races.

She'll need to pick up her race packet at least the day before the race at the Wide World of Sport/Expo. She can't get it the day of the race. She can take Disney transportation to the Expo.
