Disney Marathon Weekend accomodations

Trying to narrow down my Disney marathon weekend accomodations and for my party the best place is looking like the Ft Wilderness Cabins. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there in the past and if there were any issues with transportation. We have stayed at the Cabins before so I know the routine and we would have a golf cart so it won't be too hard to get to the bus stops but I was wondering the logistics of it all for the marathon weekend.

I don't know about race weekend transportation, I just wanted to say that I like your choice. I LOVE Ft. Wilderness. We have camped there before, but never stayed in the cabins. I make it a point to go visit at least once every trip, even if we aren't staying there. I'm hoping to do the marshmallow roasting this time, but if not, we'll at least go for awhile.

You might want to ask this on the Camping thread. I hear they pretty much know everything there about Fort Wilderness.

I don't have an answer for you but just wanted to say that we are staying at the cabins this year for the first time. Looks like a fun week!
