Disney Magical Express

So after you get off the plane you don't have to go to baggage claim?

When are the yellow tickets put on???

1) So after you get off the plane you don't have to go to baggage claim?

No. You go straight to the Magical Express desk on the first floor of MCO.

2) When are the yellow tickets put on???

You should put them on before you head to the airport.

There is practically no public transportation where my family lives, so my sister was nervous about taking the buses with my niece on our last trip (1 year old at the time). To put her mind at ease, she put her in her Ergo carrier every we were on a bus. I don't know how safe this would be in an accident, but it did make my sister feel better to know my niece wouldn't fly off a seat or her lap if the bus went over a bump or had to stop quick.

Thanks! I had thought about using my Ergo too. There's very little public transportation where I'm at too (Iowa), so I don't think about people doing this all the time in other places. I'm just used to having to get my kids strapped in and go on my own. And somebody else mentioned (sorry I can't view the name on my iPad while typing), that there are movies playing and padded seats, etc. It sounds nicer that what I was picturing. :-)

I do worry about lost luggage or it taking FOREVER to get luggage too...I'm kind of a control freak, I guess. Lol

I'm traveling with an 11 month old and a 4.5 year old in Feb. I'm Concerned about the safety of the 40 min bus ride for my youngest with no car seat. Does anybody else have these concerns? Those of you that have ridden before, can you set this worried mama's mind at ease so that we don't incur yet another added expense?

I took my daugher when she was a year old. I was a little worried about her sitting and not trying to get up. There is a movie on and the characters are on there plus they play a game with you as well so you are pretty entertained for the ride. The 2 times I have gone there has been no issues.

Now if you are staying at one of the all start resorts be aware that one bus is shared for all 3 resorts. So it took us 2 hours to get through the line and we were on a night flight.

We are staying at Bay Lake Tower. I wonder if anybody knows if they typically stop there at the beginning, middle, or end of their drop off routes?

There is no typical. It varies according to how many guests are going and how the driver chooses to go

Any GF or POLY guests should be dropped off first as per policy

Back in August they went, Wliderness Lodge, Contemporary, the other two MK resorts. You'll be dropped off at the Contemporary and can check-in there.

Now I just rent a car. Drive to the parks and park for free, visit Universal, hit the outlets, eat at off-property restaurants. Love the freedom of the car. Ditch Disney's Magical Express Handfuffs whenever you can.

Even if they lost my bag I would still use it every time. I drive every day, I don't want to drive when I'm on vacation. I don't want to have to worry about where I'm going or parking or anything else. I have no desire to leave Disney property or go eat somewhere else when it's so easy to just eat there.

I go there to not have any hassles. I live in a fast paced high stress world that I want no part of when I'm at Disney World.

Has anyones luggage ever got lost while using DME? I'm worried about that..

We've used this service everytime we've gone and this will be our fifth time over the course of five years. We have only had lost luggage once and it was the airlines fault. I wouldn't worry. Disney is great with the bags. It's the airlines I would be worried about lol. Also I don't think it was mentioned but it's great for the return trip too. Just drop your luggage off at the front desk and they'll take it to the airport for u.
