Hi,
Is there someone going on a Magic cruise that can buy me the metal ship's replica sold in the gift shop? It sells for $25.00 and I would pay the postage.
I bought one for one of my grandsons in May and now my other grandson wants one. Please help me!! :(

I did not see a metal one but a resin replica. Is that the one you mean. I believe the resin model of the ship was about $25.00

mm37,
You're probably right. I'm sure that's the one. Are you able to help me out?
I see you are going on the cruise in Aug. I can send you a check or whatever
before you leave. Let me know.:D

Sure, I can pick one up for you! Don't send any money upfront. If it's available (and I am sure it will be), I'll pick it up and PM you when I get home. We get home very late on the 10th (Sat), and my DD18 is having surgery on the 12th, so I will probably not be able to mail it out until the 13th, 14th.

If that is OK, let me know and I'll pick it up for you.

MJ,
Thanks so much. That would be great. I really appreciate it. My email direct is jandl63@yahoo.com. Linda P.S. This is going to make one little boy real happy. We went on cruise in May (10 of us) Going to Disney World (again for the umpth time in February.

Just a warning about those ship models(to anyone who buys one). If you get your luggage xrayed at the airport, that will show up and they will need to examine it for explosives. This happened to us on our recent trip. I had bought one for my mother, it was nicely sealed in its box and I packed it in the suit case with the dirty laundry(figures:rolleyes: ). At check in at the airport, we were sent over to the side, behind some curtains to get our luggage xrayed. They ok'd all our bags except the one with the ship in it. We had to unlock the bag and the rep had to go through the suitcase to find the ship. Knowing where it was, DH tried to help and she practically yelled at him "Youre not allowed to touch this once its been open!". OK! So when she found the box, she ripped it all open, unwrapped the protective wrapping, examined it and tested it for explosives(with a swab test type thing).
So just in case, be prepared for this possible scenario. Or you might want to put it in your carry on bag where it will be easier to access in case they want to check it. On the other hand, they may never check and it will be no problem. Good Luck!

I had two of them in my carry- on and no one checked it or opened my bag. So that may be the way to go.
