Hi all! No offense, but I'm really glad I'm not near most of you right now, cuz I don't want to get what you all seem to have going around!!!

I am, of course, working.

We actually had a recorded message from the school district today warning us of the extremely cold weather we have coming this week. I have NEVER had that happen in all my years here. Very interesting. You know it must be gonna be really cold if they are doing that. I didn't even know we had such a system LOL.

so far so good it's only Kevin that has it, but you never know that maybe by tomorrow we will be fighting for the bathrooms!!!!!
So what happens if it gets too cold? do they close the schools? wow never seen that happen before and I'm from way up northern Ontario where they do cold weather testing for GM because it's so cold there !!!!

I'm sorry you guys are struggling with the cold weather. Stop reading here unless you want to be upset...........................North Hollywood is still pretty warm...Mid 80's today. Actually turned on the AC in the car today.

Morning everyone! It's a whopping -19 here today (before the windchill). Yikes!!!! Funny, when Alexa was born in 1996 it was 43 degrees!

Well, Hopie is home today again. She woke up this morning at 6:30 and was sick!!!! The poor thing she can not even keep water down this morning.

Hanna was begging me to go to school and since she was fever free for 24 hours my mom came and got her to take her to school today.

It is a whopping 16 degrees here this morning it is nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was supposed to go to PTA meeting tonight and present on something but I do not want my mom to have to come and watch Hope and run the risk of getting what she has so I am going to have to call another mom to do it for me today. Bruce ended up going to his meetings and will not be home till about ten tonight so I guess he must be a bit better. Did not really have a chance to talk to him with taking care of Hopie this morning. Hoping he will call me at lunchtime.....

We are due for more snow tonight...UGH!!!!!! My brother is in FL. today and boy how I wish we were there too!!!!!!!!
