It's a snow day for all schools except catholic schools!!! Poor Josh!! LOL

They say it is going to start snowing around noon time and come down really quickly so the roads would be too bad for an early dismissal for the kids.

Going to work out for a few be back later.

I have already told the kids it is a pajama day today. They are playing in their rooms right now...!!!!!!!

wish they made those snow days here as easy as they do for you guys!!!
they didn't even shut down all the schools here, there is alot of blowing snow and the roads are getting bad now!!

Kristin, we have had the schools to cancel before the snow too. I think it's silly, but I guess it's better to err on the side of caution when you have to deal with so many kids!

Nancy, I hope Josh gets home safe!!! Why don't the Catholic Schools close too? Ours do.... Just seems smart as far as safety goes!

We have some really high winds now. Just a freaky weather day....started in the 40s and rain, going up to the 60s and rain, then back down tonight into the 30s I think tomorrow is just cloudy, which will make driving a breeze, but then rain and snow for Sunday. We might get a flurry early on Christmas Day, but they said not to expect a white Christmas. I don't think I have ever had a white Christmas here! Our really bad weather won't hit until Jan or Feb.

Andrew is sick and he is in bed napping, but he is coughing! A LOT.

Off for some quiet time!

the catholic and public school board are seperate and it's up to each one to make a judgement call....tons of parents called in to complain that they are upset at them for not canceling school as well !!!!
I'm the one who has to drive in this to go pick him up and drop him off! He could take the bus if I wanted to but since I have to walk so far to the bus stop I might as well pick him up at school...much quicker!! LOL

Well, the snow is coming down and it is bad and the wind too..

The kids and I are watching Christmas movies.. Such FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love snuggling with them on a cold day like this!!!!!!

Nancy, our Catholic Schools agreed to follow the Putnam County School Boards decisions about weather. if the county is closed, so are they. Makes it easy for those attending the Catholic Schools!!! BE CAREFUL!!!

Kristin, sounds like a HEAVENLY day!!! I miss those snuggle days. Treasure them, they go too fast!!!

It's actually very pretty outside right now! It's in the 60s and the sun is peaking through!! It's wickedly windy though! I am half tempted to wash my car, but I have to go back out later to take Connor to a friends and if it SHOULD rain, well, that would botch it up then! Maybe I better just stick to cleaning, laundry and more cookies!!!

You are getting the same weather we are. The sun hasn't been out here in almost 2 weeks until this afternoon. 70 degrees today and tomorrow, then 30's and snow Sunday! But it's all good because I'm on vacation for 2 weeks!!!!
