'morning. All I can say is #!%&!!!! We got dumped on overnight and I just spent an hour shovelling, felt like 2 hours. Lucky it's just light fluffy stuff but by the looks of things it ain't stopping!!!

All I have to do is figure out what to have for supper. If I hold out long enough you'll be posting what you are making in the crockpot. Them meatballs and sausages sound good

Morning everyone!!! It's snowing here again, and it's cold. They said only 2 inches, but it's also starting 8 hours early, so we'll see.

Michele, I actually did get some Christmas presents at the mall, I'm getting some of it done finally!!! I also got a Blackberry Storm t-shirt, they had a big display and I told them I already had one, and they all got very excited and gave me a free tshirt!

Just had to call back the Express store at the Mall, after getting bad customer service last night and being overcharged for a pair of pants I was returning. The manager actually fixed it for me!

Now off to grocery shop.

Oh gosh Denis you got more snow than we did.. This was our first "real snow" but is it is not even an inch of snow....The kids are going to out and play in the snow. I hate the snow.....

Well, we got the tree decorated early this morning and made gingerbread cookies with the kids this morning.

I am off to the store to get batteries so we can set the train up around the tree.

We are back from the banquet, and much to Denis' dismay, we also went to the Mexican restaurant for dinner, so nothing in the crock pot tonight! Might have to think of something for the crockpot for tomorrow though! Wonder what I have left in the freezer?? hhhmmm........

The banquet was nice, all though loooong. There are 189 football players and cheerleaders, and EVERYONE gets recogonized and receives a trophy. Then the board of directors, team Mom's, coaches and anyone that did anything gets recognized and sometimes rewarded as well!

Now that we are full of chips, cheese dip. salsa and carne asada, we are nearly ready for bed!!!!

We're back Just as we were hoping to make up some ranch style breaded chicken, I walked in the house carrying umpteen bags of groceries and Nancy announces we are not cooking dinner tonight. My folks were expecting company but they cancelled because of the weather but they had already put the roast in the oven. Cha-ching!
The chicken can wait until tomorrow. Also picked up enough stuff to make another batch of Allen chili, stuff for some home heated chinese food LOL. Oh yes, thanks Michelle, we picked up some sweedish meatballs and bratwursts, guess what we'll be making LOL

We're back Just as we were hoping to make up some ranch style breaded chicken, I walked in the house carrying umpteen bags of groceries and Nancy announces we are not cooking dinner tonight. My folks were expecting company but they cancelled because of the weather but they had already put the roast in the oven. Cha-ching!

Just for the record....I usually put in about 6 sausages, about 20 meatballs...just because the boys don't like the sausage...then I use 2 jars of sauce. It doesn't take long to cook, maybe 4 hours on low. I told Steve I think I am going to have to doctor the sauce a bit. I am just using Walmart brand Garden Combo, and it gets a bit thin after cooking...could be the grease/liquid from the meat? I dunno. I am either going to have to find a thicker sauce or add a can of paste and little bit of spices to make it "Just Right". Happy Eating!!!!

Candy, sent me this recipe a few days ago I am going to make this:
2 cans cream of chicken soup (I use Campbell's Healthy Request with less fat and less sodium, and it is still very good)1 block of cream cheese1 packet ranch dressing mixboneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenderloins1/4 cup of water add it all together in a crock pot and cook for about 5 hours. Serve over rice, and sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese to top!!

Oh I know what you are using for sauce now. We usually make our own meatballs and NAncy makes her own sauces. Some are pretty simple to make. For this I'd like to make a brown sweet sauce, something with brown sugar

I do add tomatoe paste to my sauce one or two small cans thickens it up..

My mom made kielbasa last night and it was so good. I thought of you. Kielbassa cut up into bite size pieces, then you add Apricot Jam, brown sugar and Dijion Mustard. It is soo good. You can put it over egg noodles, or rice. She made it for an appetizer without the noodles, or rice. It is a Great appetizer my Aunt made it on Thansgiving for an appetizer!!!!

We made that last year, I think it's still on the recipe page on your site. I'd definately go for the low sodium soup but it was good
