hey Kristin!!!
Hey,, Nancy!!!!
hey Kristin!!!
and you!!!! you'll have a long day tomorrow!!!
Nancy!!! that's not good!!! My mind was just racing...thinking about all kinds of stuff, but nothing in particular. Make sense? It was like my mind was just racing!! I also think that having 2 large caffienated Iced teas with dinner before bed didn't help! No caffiene tonight! It also didn't help that while I was brushing my teeth, Colton came in and asked what would help get ink off of skin? I'm like, WHAT? You're supposed to be in bed! He said he just "had" to write something down and the pen exploded. Exploded? Is it on the bed? He said, I dunno? So we go and look and it's everywhere! And I mean it was EVERYWHERE! His bed is near the corner, it was on both walls, the bed linens, the miniblinds, the night stand, the lamp, his wall hanging, the carpet, if it was within 5 feet of him, it had ink splattered on it. The only thing I could use to get it off the walls was isopropol alcohol, and it took off some of the paint too. His walls look bad...but right this moment, I don't have the time, money or patience to do it! Maybe after Christmas. He's been wanting his room painted and to lose the border, so I could do it....later! Anyhow, that took about 45 mins. I told Steve it looked like a crime scene up there. I have never seen anything like it! So, I think that got my blood pumping and I was wide awake again. I had to wash one of his covers, so he was cold and turned off the ceiling fan, which was his "white noise" so everything else kept him up. Connor, he too, had iced tea with dinner...so I think he was on a caffiene buzz....and he kept waking up. Thankfully, they are old enough to just roll over and try to go back to sleep and not patter down the hall to tell me they are awake!!
Here's to a GOOD night's sleep!!!!
Ain't nothin like a caffein buzz when you're trying to get to sleep!!!! A pen exploded? Somehow this has never happened to me. I am kind of thankfull for that because my mom would have taken out the frustrations on my hind end...
That I do but I really feel like I am getting a cold..I can see it now I'll be sneezing the entire night....LOL!!!!!!!!!!
Would be nice to hear the new ships are going to be built soon, one of the Aida ships is coming along well but since we don't know what the order books looks like I'd be guessing it's a money thing, special cruise offer or something.Michele, Nancy, Denis,
Any speculations as to what DCL might announce on WED..??
I just Carol an email to see if she has any insight!!!!!!!

Blech! At least you have a few spots on the walls that will be etched out fine to take some new paint. LOL sorry, just trying to see the humor out of this but I can just imagine what it was like.I am tellin' ya, I have NEVER seen a pen explode like this! On the paper, on your hand, yeah, but I mean, it was on both walls, behind him and to the left, 5' off the ground, on the ground, it was just amazing!!! Splattered or sprayed, tiny specks everywhere. I told them both though, NO MORE PENS in thier rooms!! Use a pencil instead!! I'll buy a box of 100 mechanical pencils if I have to! That was just the biggest dad-gum mess I have EVER seen!! and ink does NOT clean up well. Lysol wipes just smeared it. ugh. I never want to clean that up again.

LOL!!! Disney dreams to you as wellha ha...glad you can see the humor in it! But at 1030 at night, as you are trying to climb into bed and then you have to deal with THIS? ugh. It was just a bad thing....I guess you could say it was the precurser to the night we were to have!
Kristin, sorry to hear your not feeling well. If I am still sick on Wednesday, I am going to call the doctor. That will be officially 2 weeks. I am afraid I might have a touch of bronchitis though! Which is typical for me for this time of year.
Well, I am going to head to bed...just as soon as I put Colton's OTHER blanket in the dryer. the ink seems to be coming off. The thing is, it splattered, so it's all real fine, so you really have to look for it to see it, plus it's easier to come off. I'm not too worried about the carpet. It will have to be replaced in a few years anyway, and since the spots are small, they are actually hard to see. Maybe when I go over it with the carpet cleaner it will come up! It's between his bed and the wall, so no one sees it anyway....it's just, it's there.....
Okay enough whining from me!! Have a good night!
Disney Dreams!!!![]()
and no bad ones!
LOL,,, that is not going to happen!!!!
Not sure if this will help you out Michele but it sounds like it might work if you need it::
One of the best solvents you can use to remove ink stains from carpet is also one of the cheapest: rubbing alcohol. It works better if it is 90% isopropyl alcohol, but there is no danger in trying the ones that are 70% if that's what you have available. Whichever you use, remember that ink stain removal is always easier if you treat the stains quickly. Just follow the steps below.
