Morning all! Alexa finally got out of practice at 9:20 last night, the little kids had left about 8:50 but they needed to practice singing Be Our Guest, over and over, and as much as I needed to get her out of there, I will say the change in the sound of their singing from the first time to the time we left was amazing! It is such a complicated production, so many people! But I think it will be incredible when it's done. Her director is very much an artist! She is very funny with the kids, but also very very stern when they are trying to get something done. The choir girls all seem to like her though.

I have to leave in a little over an hour to pick her up from the slumber party cuz we have 12:30 tickets for the Jo Bros 3D Concert movie!! Then Steve and I are going to a MN Gophers college Hockey game tonight. Busy Busy. But in 20 minutes I have to try to get pre-sale tickets to see Sugarland in April. The world always works against me seeing them, but this time it's gonn happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I better get moving. I need to clean up my kitchen and get a shower and have Connor to the movies at 1. He is seeing Pink Panther with the party, but I don't think I want to see that. I might forego a movie all together and come home to get things done. We'll see.....

Just got the tickets, what a hassle that was! Put in my code, got perfect seats, realized I only did 2! Need 4! So had to give those up, then go back for 4, it spun for 4 minutes only to say it had no seats. Then it wouldn't let me do 4 after that. So I had to get 2 sets of 2, luckily right next to each other, but up in row 8. Which would be great, but I'm an idiot,after I buy them I look to see where they are selling now, and of course it's row 3 and row 5. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh well, I'm finally going to see Sugarland headline a show!!!

That's great news Erika!! Congrats on the tickets!! I love Sugarland!! We saw them when they opened for Brookes and Dunn, and they were good then. I can only imagined how good they would be as headliners! I would love to see that!!

Hello everyone!! It's been a busy weekend so far, and it is only going to get busier!! Got lots to do today and tomorrow to get ready for the appraiser to come Monday!!

Evening all!
Connor was asked to go with his friend to dinner at Hooters, then bowling then back for a sleep over. When they got here to pick him up, the Dad asked Colton to go with them! When Steve got home, I had the taco soup on the stove, but we stuck it in the fridge, called our friends and found out they were getting ready to meet his son and family at the mall for dinner at Steak N Shake. So, we went with them! Then Colton was asked to spend the night, so we took over clothes for him. Now we are off to bed!

(although Steve told me tonight that he dreamed last night that we won the Power Ball and we fixed up this house, but secretly he built us a 5000 sq ft ranch outside of Savannah, GA. LOL we bought a ticket for tonight, but he's got to go to work tomorrow. Drat)

RISE AND SHINE PARROTHEADS!!

this weekend seems to be flying by. I can't beleive it's back to the grind tomorrow!

We got a coating of ice last night. It seems to be just on the deck, porch rails, swing, stuff that's not actually the ground. I think the ground is too warm now. I am sure bridges and overpasses will be slick, thankfully, I don't need to use those this morning to get to church!

I am off to shower, get the boys and get to church on time!

Morning all! Lovely warm here -1, with a windchill of -14. I swear my calendar says it's March??

Candy, I saw Sugarland open for Kenny Chesney a few years back, they are amazing, I cannot wait to see them headline!!! Billy Currington is opening, I only know a couple of his songs, but I like them.

Gotta do my usual Sunday morning Target grocery trip today. I'm not sure what else I have to do today, I'm sure I'll end up busy and not sitting down all day, I usually do.

I am here, but only to say good night!

We are trying to find a hotel in Orlando. We are leaving on June 13 and now Steve wants to drive straight through and not stop near Savannah. Instead of checking in a day early at the Beach Club...would be almost $600 more with food....or $140 for Pop Century....we are trying to find "A clean, comfortable room" that won't cost a small fortune! LOL I am sure where ever we pick will be okay. There are so many places in Orlando, you'd think they would have to be good or quickly go out of business!

The appraiser is coming in the morning. We are refinancing the house. He'll be here at 11, so between the time I drop the boys on the bus and his arrival, I'll be doing the 10 second tidy!

I am sorry Hanna is so sick. I hope she gets better soon!!!! And stay safe in the storm! I hope you get a snow day tomorrow!!!

Ugh. Now that the appraiser is coming today, I am a bit "panic-y". There are a few things that we probably should have done before he comes, but this all happened so quickly, I am not sure what we would have been able to accomplish anyway. Now I am thinking that our house is outdated and that will cost us. I hope it doesn't keep us from finishing the refinancing though. Wish us luck!!!

How's the snow up north? I can't beleive we totally missed this one! It tracked just far enough south, just long enough, that it got caught on the East side of the Appalacians and we got nothing but cold from it! Even talking to my Mom last night in Cleveland, they originally thought it would track to the West, and they would get the snow too. Everyone stay safe!

How's Hanna today? Hope still doing okay?

Off to the bus and then to clean up a bit.

Good Luck Michele I hope it goes well. I know Bruce looked into it when the rates first dropped but it was not low enough for it to make a difference for us.. Good Luck...

Hanna seems to be responding to the steroids her cough is much better....Now Hopie is coughing. Will this winter ever end??

It is snowing soo much here. NYC schools even closed for the first time in five years......We have about 12 inches already and it is coming down 1-2 inches an hour.....Bruce's company closed too.. Which never happens....He had a dentist app. today too and they called to say they were closed... It is amazing everything is shut down today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
