Disney Magic - NYC

OK just made payment on room 6576.... mid ship, digging that. Hopefully I will make enough payments so that my final payment will not be painful.

We're booked for 10/2 and 10/22. DH like the Canada itinerary, and I liked the free day at WDW, so we compromised, and booked both, lol.

I booked the 6 night NYC to San Juan. I would have loved to do the 7 night Bahamas but won't take my son out of school for a week. With the 11/5 cruise he will only miss 2 days. I'm excited to sail out of NYC!!

 Booked for the 10/29 cruise...super excited! :yay: Have not cruise with Disney since 2006!! Also, I am assuming Halloween decor will be on the Magic!:maleficen

So I got more information about the WDW portion of the cruise, from my travel agent -- because we are not technically Resort guests, we will only be able to book fast passes 30 days in advance, and for only one park.

Of course, being so far out, who knows what the Fast Pass policies will be by then, they have evolved so much in the past couple years....

Still super excited!! :cool1:

Taking my first trip to Canada. Many misgivings about a cruise to somewhere not a warm, sunny island. But my family is very excited so I will suffer through.

When we first heard about the cruises out of NY my DW and I decided to put off our August 2016 DCL cruise to Alaska and book this October 29 out of NY. We did the Canada cruise out of NY back in 2012 and we loved it. We live in Connecticut, about a 25 minute drive to the pier, so its nice we can save some money on airfare. If I ask nicely I'm sure one of my relatives will drive us there and pick us up. We are looking forward to meeting all of you that will be sailing with us on the October 29 cruise....

I'm holding a spot for the Oct 2 cruise, and have until tomorrow to pay the deposit. I feel like I may be a bit crazy for wanting this cruise since I'm located in the southeast, but the unique itineraries interest me. My husband and I have done the repositioning from Vancouver to LA, and the upcoming Vancouver to Hawaii.

Oops! I posted prematurely, and my edit isn't showing up (maybe it takes a while). Sorry, I'm a lurker and haven't posted a lot from my phone.

Anyway... I like the idea of visiting NYC for a few days, and the Canadian ports sound beautiful. I get the feeling I may be one of the few cruisers not actually from the northeast. Anyone else actually considering flying in for this itinerary? Or am I the only crazy one out there?

We are booked on the 10/29 NYC-Bahamas Cruise. We took the 2012 NYC-Canada cruise and parked at the pier. There are six of us, so LIRR plus cab with luggage is pricey. I also had 2 storage bins with FEs, can't imagine hauling it all on the LIRR! Worth the parking fee for us.

We are going on the 5day Canada cruise from NY. We are coming rom Southern IL so not the Northeast. Mom & I went to NY for a few days a couple of years ago and this seemed like a great opportunity to see NY again with the DHs. And top it off with a Disney Cruise.
