I was wondering if they still offer the Avengers academy training in the Marvel play area? I haven’t seen anything in recent videos and reviews but it was all the talk 5 years ago. If not what activities do they offer there and is my 12 year old too old to go there. He still lives everything Marvel ( that’s why we chose the Marvel Day at Sea as our cruise). Thank you for any info you can provide.

Part of the Oceaneer's club has a Marvel area. It's for kids 3-12 yrs old, so your son can go there, you can also go in there during Open House. I haven't done a Marvel cruise, but have done a Star Wars cruise. They do a Jedi Training thing on the SW cruises. You sign up for it when your booking window opens. It's done in the theater, not the club. Perhaps they do the same with Marvel characters on your cruise.

The Marvel cruises don't start until January, so things could be different from last year. But, you can take a look at previous Navigators to see what was offered. To look at specific MDAS offerings look for Navigators with the M symbol. To see if an activity is available during Open House look for the OH symbol in the daily schedule.

Scott's blog has many to look at - https://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/

Thanks everyone for the info I guess we will find out on the 11th. Only 10 days away and we are so excited!

They had Avengers Academy on our cruise earlier this year but our son ended up unable to attend because it was during Open House and we didn't know that meant we had to be there with him.
