Tonight in the park I had one of those rare moments. The kind of moment that I dream about. The kind of magic I hope for, and it made me cry. I don't want to share background details too much but let's just say it's been a very challenging year for our family. Especially my DD10 who hasn't had a lot of happiness this year. Well, tonight was magical for us for just a few minutes. We were on main street waiting for the snow at 7:30 tonight. What I didn't expect was my DD10 to embrace the magic of it. Watching her twirl in circles looking up at the snow fall while nearby guests gave her a wide space to just enjoy it was all I could have dreamed of. My heart swelled with pure joy watching her moment. It was pure happiness and magic. I will never forget. And as we walked away to our next destination I was wiping tears from my eyes. Thank to Disney for your magic.:)

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful moment! Send a comment to Disney at City Hall or online -- they love to hear about things like this!

I teared up just reading your post! Love Disney Magic!!

Here's to a wonderful 2015 for you and your family!

normal people just dont understand why we love disney so much. Moments like that are what really bring it home for people like us.

I did too! I'm normally a crier, but Disney stuff I get.

I teared up when DD met Cinderella last year. the look on her face was priceless

I'm happy your family is having such a wonderful time!

I'm so happy for you that you got that experience. I had a few happy/teary moments when we there on our trip this year as well. I also was surprised when my DD10 who is usually quite shy and quiet, danced (twirling and skipping) on her way out of the park at the end of our first day. I saw that as an expression of her sheer joy of where she was and what we had experienced together that day. It can be hard to describe to people who haven't been why DL is so special and so much more than a theme park .... but it is these moments that are why pixiedust:

Such a precious story  I hope you and your family have more magical moments in 2015, even if it is not all from Disney magic :)

That's what it's all about. I always have happy tears at Disney

Yes, Disney makes me cry too. Like when prices were raised again, for all intensive purposes, everything! And when I was looking at a standby time of at least 30 minutes for a churro. worse than that, standby time for the toiety by at least a good 40 minutes! Never again will I ever drink an extra large lemonade during high peak tourista season at the land! :faint:

Tears! This is exactly why I love Disney! We've had the good fortune of going many many times, yet I always experience this MAGIC in some way or another on our trips. The best now that I'm a parent is seeing it through the eyes of my children. :)
