We're travelling on the Disney Magic in August, but seeing as she was sailing into our relatively close city of Liverpool for the first time. went to see her docking there - and trying to spot which cabin was ours by counting windows from the outside!

Out of interest, from the dockside, I checked the cruise app on my phone... to find it connecting to the ship and downloading all the activities, information, menus and more for the current UK cruise!!! I don't know if the menus will carry forward (and boy, do they sound good!) but it sounds amazing, and I've got information and activity overload! :)

We met some lovely Americans exploring the port area who have assured us it's smiles from start to finish.... getting excited now!!! :)

PS. Liverpool put on a fantastic Disney day along the docks with singalongs, all-day outdoor cinema, activities and thousands of people there to wave and cheer at the Disney characters who were doing a great display deckside for the crowds. It's a firework finale tonight to send them on their way. But just a pity that the good old British weather showed its face a few times....!

It was heartbreaking seeing it connect to the ship and not be able to get on!

Were you there too? At least we got a little taster! It's the first time I've been able to get my husband to agree to a cruise... the Disney bit swayed him seeing as he knows how well they do anything vacation based! 2 months to go for us.... :)

Aw I wish I'd gone now, we went to Cheshire Oaks instead to get some holiday clothes (and saw our suitcases at rock bottom prices grrr). We haven't told the kids so I didn't want to risk going down there in case I gave it away but wish I had now.

I knew Liverpool would put on a good show. Glad you think the menu looks good, can't wait!!!

Oh, that would have been a big spoiler, it was Disney everything there! It was totally heaving though, so we didn't do any Disney or 'carnival' stuff because of the queues. I'll see if I can get the menus off somehow, although I don't know if it will be the same obviously.

Was it the Samsonite shop? We got a bargain there that we still are using because it was 'last year's colour' - who knew that suitcases have seasonal fashions!

It was the Tripp shop, we did get them on offer in Debenhams so it wasn't too galling but I wish I'd thought of it before! Lots of lovely holiday bargains but it was sooo busy as always.
And yes I though a suitcase was a suitcase!
