I have heard I need to sign up right away at Guest Services the first day for certain things. What kinds of things should I make sure to ask for? I have 5 and 6 year old girls and my parents are traveling with us. Which things are extra costs?
Thanks in advance for any help. It is our first Disney cruise! We do the parks every year so have done all the characters and won't be too upset to miss a few.

You need to Tell us what cruise you are on. For most things you sign up at the port adventures desk not at guest services.

Western Carribean, April 24. We have our port adventures booked. I am just a bit confused. I have been told I need to sign up for character things and other tastings and such. I just was trying to find more info and have not had much luck. Thanks!

In the Navigator you will get when you check in it will be listed what character meets need tickets. Go to where they have listed to get those tickets (which are free). If you are wanting to do alcohol tasting classes, there will also be somewhere to sign up for these. Sometimes it is in a bar or guest services. These do have a charge ($15-$25/person).

If it's a 7 night or longer you should have a character breakfast. It will tell you on your first day navigator that you will get at checkin. Also they will have a couple characters where you pick a time. Maybe the princesses they usually have 5 out. Than the frozen characters I believe. This will be done at port adventures desk.

For alcohol tastings I believe you do this at guest services. This has a fee. There's also might be tea time for your little girls I'm not sure.

Thank you, it is 7 nights. Will the character breakfast be free? Is it hard to get! I can do all of this on the navigator ap? I am a bit worried about getting times as Disney is picking us up and taking us from POFQ. It seems later than everyone else's check in.

The Navagator will list what character events will be happening and where to pick up tickets. It's usually printed on the front right side. Lately tickets have been given out at the Port Adventures Desk. A least one person in your party has to be there to pick up the tickets.
There is no charge for the Princess Meets or the Character breakfast.
There is a charge for any of the wine/alcohol tastings.

These events will be daily sign ups, not all at the beginning then? They will be on the paper navigator? Thanks for being patient with all the clarification.

No - you will want to sign up on the first day. The paper navigator that you get the first day when you check in at the terminal will tell you where to get your tickets.

We were on the Wonder in January. The sign up for the princesses and Anna/Elsa was at Wave bands (they had a table set up). The remainder of signs ups for palo, wine tasting, etc were in tritons. They had several tables set up as different stations. Both areas only took a few minutes and were no big deal.
Only one person from your party neede to be present, so let the family eat lunch while I ran and got tickets
